Artists release music videos when they release a song for a reason. It’s like spitting in their face to not watch the original video the first time you watch the song. Save live performances for second views. This song is one great example, here’s another: if you watched Michael Jackson’s Beat It in concert, it is completely different from watching the video.

This song so is so good that sadly he could never duplicate the success, like Gotye, and made him a one hit wonder.
