This song and the subsequent album were soooo anxiously anticipated at the time because it was her first new work after Evita and after having her first child. Plus the idea of exploring electronica and putting her own stamp on it was exciting. Also her voice was very different after all the intense training she received to record the Evita soundtrack....a richer sound with a much broader range. Lyrically almost every track was influenced by her Kabbala studies. I'd say the "you" in Frozen was firstly society as a whole and then addressing one's individual place within society.
