Filmed in Oostende, Belgium. Track also recorded there by himself in a small studio with an 808 drum machine and a bit of help from Gordon Banks on guitar+bass.

Marvin had many classic well known tracks, as did other Motown stars from back in the day. My personal favourite was "I want you". But probably his most successful (at least the one I heard, and still hear the most) was "Let's get it on".

A classic and one of his most iconic songs. I do prefer the version without the slap bass, I find it to be a bit overpowering over the other instruments and main bass.

Marvin Gaye is a rabbit hole very deep this is just one song. Better songs from his early days of Motown. Also did some great duets specially with Tammi Terrell at Motown

You gotta remember music videos and MTV channels were getting popular and alot of musicians would hire video directors who would come up with video concepts that were kind of cheesy sometimes and musicians were told hey it will be great just go with it. Blah blah.
