Mireille Mathieu is still singing today at 74! A grand treasure of France. Oh her name is pronounced this way - Mee-Ray-uh (Mireille) Ma-tee-you (Mathieu) (This is the Southern France accent from Provence-Alps-Coted'Azur, in Avignon, where she is from). This is also one of her best ones. Along with Une Femme Amoureuse, Bravo Tu A Gagne, Pardonne-Moi ses caprice d'enfant, Tous Les Enfants Chante avec moi, Parlez-Moi d'Amour.

Thank you so much Genie. Mireille (pronounced something like Mur-a). You said her last name correctly.) Her voice is exceptional. She has been performing for more than 55 years. More folks need to know about this French songbird. She sings in several languages.

Tim Carr aww Mura for pronouncing her first name I wouldn’t have guess it. Thank goodness I got one of her name correctly I don’t feel too bad now. Wow she’s been preforming for a very long time I’m surprised she’s not bigger than she seems especially when she can sing in several languages and such beautiful voice. Thanks again.

Sorry Tim that i meddle, please don't be angry! But you know that i know her music almost my whole life, as well as her name. Her first name is pronounced : me-RAY Her surname: ma- TIEU The last syllable is usually emphasized in French. 🇫🇷

Mireille Mathieu is incredible, This girl is also fantastic. 伊卉儿Katty She has the voice of an Angel. I just made a KZfaq channel for her. Why not give her a reaction?

This is very early in her career,probably late teens early 20's,this song is one of her big hits,she was at her best in the 70's/80's when her voice had a chance to mature,she was an ardent fan of French singer Edith Piaf and sang a few of her songs most famous being La Vie En Rose,you can see many of her live performances here on KZfaq,just type her name in and you will get quite a list.

@@robertjaget5742 Yes, but the audio will always be her first recording - she was "la reine du playback", i. e. she mimed to her earlier recordings (sometimes much earlier). As did everybody else, of course, if only for technical reasons at the time. You can tell as the durations are always the same, within a few seconds.
