Jellly roll started as a rapper and has recently moved into rock and country. He was a country thug that did time for dealing. His first child was born while he was in prison and he decided then he had to turn his life around and he did. He has a hot wife named Bunnie that everyone thinks is a gold diogger but in fact when they got together she was making all the money and he lived in his van. She took care of him for years. They are an amazing story of the losers winning and they have maintained their humble down to earth attitudes!

This guy is amazing. Was in a gang & spent 5 years in prison. Got out at 23 & changed his life. I heard him in an interview that he knows his audience & who he is writing for. Check out 'Need a favor' & the video is powerful in its simplicity.

This dude isn't just an amazing musician both in rap and country but he and his wife took past that people would consider terrifying in a lot of cases and turn them around into being amazing people. Not only is he extremely successful right now in country music. And it's mind-boggling how good he is a cappella. He's changed what the face of country music has always been the same as. But he and his wife gave Christmas to 10,000 kids in the area he grew up in last year. He started doing toy drives in October. At his concerts typically there's hundreds and hundreds of signs of people holding up pictures of family members who are addicts that passed or addicts that won and he will literally stop midsong and have somebody pass him one of the signs he will talk to the family right in the middle of the concert and then he will have them brought backstage so that he can spend time with them afterwards. This dude is a real deal. And his wife don't let her looks fool you she's one of the kindest hugest hearted people I've ever seen and people have called her a gold digger which is freaking hilarious cuz she picked him up off the ground

I’ve listened to Jelly Roll for a few years now, I personally will listen to any genre, but I feel more men and women need to listen to this song & Dax - to be a man because I’m married 20yrs ,10yrs in military from 2000-2010 tours of Afghanistan, Iraq and Northern Ireland and where I’m from we as men just bury our problems deep down in ourselves. But I feel this song and Dax gives some men the courage to talk.
