Patsy Cline has one of the best country voices around. Patsy had so many great hits such as "She's Got You", "When I Get Through With You", "So Wrong", "Leavin' On Your Mind", "Walkin' After Midnight", "San Antonio Rose", "Blue Moon Of Kentucky", "Half As Much", "He Called Me Baby", "Faded Love", "Imagine That". She was only 31 when she died in a plane crash in 1963. In 1985 Jessica Lange starred in the movie about Patsy's life called "Sweet Dreams.

Patsy Cline had one of the most memorable and pure voices. I bet she could have sung the phone book and folks would have been happy! I bet you’d really enjoy the power in her voice on Walkin After Midnight. You should have the secretary add that one to your list!

Patsy Cline is the only one of the "traditional" country artists that I really enjoy. What a great voice and such great songs. Thanks for bringing her to the attention of the current generstion.

Patsy will always be a treasure. A standard few can achieve. To expand on the era of Patsy you should check out some of the male crooners of her time. Names like Jim Reeves, Ray Price, and Bill Anderson. Songs as "Welcome to My World", "He'll Have to Go", "Make the World Go Away", and "For the Good Times" are all up there with Ms. Cline.

Great reaction to Patsy Cline! She was very a gifted singer and VERY popular I remember. Her voice was so smooth and filled with emotion. Her songs were often in the Top 10 of the Pop genre too. God rest her sweet Soul! May her memory be eternal. Thanks ABtheKreator for reviving her superb music again...

I’m assuming it was a small town too. I lived in this town in Michigan that was small enough that everything was on the same stretch of the same road. You’d drive into town at 25 mph, and then 30 seconds later, you were out in the country again.

Would love to hear what you think of Avi Kaplan. You have reacted to him with Pentatonix, and when he was featured woith Home Free but that is such a small part of what he can do. Patsy was an abused woman who loved her man. She still got out there because in reality, that's life. Tragedy and trauma will always be life, we can't escape it. She was unable to separate from him.

Patsy Cline died March 3rd, 1963 in an airplane crash in Camden, Tennessee. They flew in heavy weather after being fogged in when they shouldn't have. She & 3 others died the exact same way Buddy Holly, Ricky Valens & the Big Bopper had died in 1959 only 4 years earlier.
