Dude ur reactions are pretty awesome . It is entertaing as hell to see cool people check out music & films from other cultures that are awesome but were just missed due to life being what it is. Talk about a culture skip , Bob Marley used to be perplexed why no blacks attendid his concerts in the USA .I always didn't get it either . Anyway ,if ur into Jamaican culture at all this film will blow ur mind. It's one of my top films . kzfaq.info/get/bejne/etWEjcyc3pbScqM.html (No Marley in this one deliberately ) .

I met Les Claypool. I want you to know he talks just like he sings and was so nice. My drummer said to Les “All I have heard since I met him so Primus and Les Claypool is the Greatest Bass Player” Les looked at me in the Primus voice and said “Cut it out” it was amazing. Of all the famous people I have met. Meeting Les and getting a photo is by far my favorite.

Jerry was a Racecar Driver, John the Fisherman, Tommy the Cat. Check out the original videos before any live IMO. However, there is a very cool early session where they play live in a studio for a radio program that gives a great look at their early years. @@mackdavidson4935 No, they were just known about. That's all. People knew there was a band named 'Primus' out there somewhere in existence, but that's all they knew of them. Primus never got "big" at any point of their careers. They couldn't hold a candle to the bands who were legitimaty 'big' in the early-to-mid 90s. They weren't knocking Nirvana, Guns N Roses, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Faith No More, or Green Day from the headlines. Then, a few years later in the late 90s, they weren't holding candles to Korn, Tool, Marilyn Manson, Rage Against the Machine, and Limp Bizkit. You should read the book he wrote. It's basically the novelization of all the through lines and carecters from his music

Check out other popular primus tracks Jerry was a Racecar Driver, Southbound Pachyderm, their version of The Devil Went Down to Georgia or the MTV banned video Lacquer Head. Also consider listening to Les in the Claypool Lennon Delirium with John Lennon's son Sean Lennon who is a great artist themselves. Blood and Rockets is an awesome track of their's as well as Bubbles Burst. Also also, got to find your way to other amazing bassists Victor Wooten either in his solo work or with Bella Fleck and the Flecktones. And Geddy Lee with the band "Rush" for other amazing wtf did I just listen to vibes. And Neil Perts drumming is on another level. Great Rush tracks to start are Spirit of Radio, Tom Sawyer, Closer to the heart, and Working Man. Primus toured playing the entire Rush album A Farewell to Kings along with their own Primus songs.

Guitar solo is just a lot of "Gain" through the "Fuzz" pedal. 👍🎸🎶

Remember watching this, after 23 or 11 o'clock on Mtv.. and thinking this is something even stranger than Beavis & Butthead. But I couldn't stop watching because of the text, voice and video Edit* That was actually the case with many 90's alt rock videos. They were usually also alternative

Do _Frizzle Fry,_ the song or the album, doesn't matter. Primus rules! Too Many Puppies, Toys Winding Down, To Defy The Laws Of Tradition, Is It Luck? Ok, idk if that last track is on Frizzle Fry or not, but everything on that album is good, I think. 🤔

Weird is very apropos for Primus. When I was in high school I met Les Clapool after a show, very funny and weird dude.

Primus is WICKED!!! I remember when they first came out. My friend and I would listen to these guys for hours. Intricate and unique...love the bass and whimsical union of their music and stage presence. Definitely legends of their time..😎😎😎

For those wondering, Apple bought Shazam. It’s now a built in feature, you just go to the settings and add it to your control center.
