A few fun facts about Queen: * Guitarist Brian May has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and built his electric guitar (Red Special) when he was 17 (with his dad). * Bassist John Deacon has a degree in electronics. He designed and built the amp that Brian sometimes uses to create unique sounds on Red Special. John was also involved in the band’s financial management. * Drummer Roger Taylor has a degree in biology (pre-med). His vocal range is better than most lead singers of other groups. * Lead singer Freddie Mercury has a degree in graphic design. It goes without saying that his vocal range was amazing and he was the best front man of any band. * All four have written #1 hits, and all are members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Welcome to the world with Queen in it! They make you cry, laugh and stand in awe! This performence was part of the song 'Bohemian Rapsody' which was they breakthrough single in 1975, it is considered one of the best rock songs of all times.

The Man is the Legend Freddie Mercury,This is just the start of their 20mins set at Live Aid. You got to watch their whole 20 mins set bro. It’s voted the best live performance ever in music History. Live Aid is a Charity concert to raise fund for the Ethiopian Famine,a lot of artist perform on this concert and Queen’s performance still stand out ‘till this day. You gotta listen to the studio version of this song as well it’s an experience.

Dude you gotta check out the music video for this song, it's the full version and will feel completely new - you'll love it! And also Don't Stop Me Now is incredible. Somebody to Love (live in Montreal) is crazy vocals. The entire Wembley performance which is considered the best performance of all time by many. Glad you liked the vid!

queen's songs are so iconic...the audience would sing back to them. So much so....they were a part of concert. Look up their song "Love of my life"...Freddie Merucry (lead singer) would let them sing it to him vs other way around. This caused Brian Mays (guitarist) to write a song that would encourage it. They had just had to stomp twice and clap once then repeat....and sing back 6 iconic song lyrics "We will we will rock you"

I suggest you react to their albums. You will get to hear how truly polished and flawless his voice is. How perfect their harmonies are. This performance is, without a doubt, epic. It was the largest and most viewed concert compilation of all time.....televised around the world and viewed by over a billion peoe. It was a benefit concert to raise money for the famine in Ethiopia. It was a very meaningful performance for Queen, and they were the highlight of the whole Concert. Freddie's performance, however was far from his best, in fact he was struggling. He had recently found out he had contracted HIV which had developed into AIDS. There were no treatments yet and there wouldnt be for quite a few years. He had a pretty bad chest infection at the time...and like I said he was struggling with the golden notes. If you listen to some studio versions, you will hear what I mean. I would suggest, Somebody to Love, We will Rock You/We are the Champions combo. The Prophet Song, killer Queen, Don't Stop Me Now, Love of My Life, Fat Bottom Girls

If you think that concert was big you should watch their Rock in Rio, Brazil, January 1985 The biggest crowd Queen ever played to, with an estimated 250,000 to 500,000 people in attendance each night. This concert you are watching now has about 72,000 people. There were many, many talented bands in the 70's. You should also listen to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Santana, The Bee Gees, The Moody Blues, The Commodores, the list goes on and on. The 60's also had great bands like the Beatles, The Animals, The Rolling Stones (also in the 70's), The Who and many more. I didn't see that you had listened to any of these bands and you are really missing out if you only stick to singers from now a days. Back then it was real talent like you saw here.

Bo Rap is shortened here at Live Aid cuz Queen did a 20 min set of six songs for their set list!! Amazing!! I think the best live version of Bohemian Rhapsody is live in Montreal 1981. You should do Queen’s full 20 min set from Live Aid 1985. They stole the show!! SOMEBODY TO LOVE live in Montreal 1981.

I agree. Plus he was sick during that performance. The doctor told him not to do it but he did it anyways. You see him take a drink of one of those cups on the piano, many people just think it was beer but it was lemon and honey water to sooth his throat. David Bowie came on after Queen and when he got on stage he said "How can anyone follow that?"

I like you man...you're young & passionate about music. Keep pursuing it. One critique though - I think you may have said "bro" about 700 times. Might want to curb that a bit if you want to be taken more seriously. That said, this wasn't even the whole song. Do your research on them. It's worth it. Your generation needs to study history in all things entertainment and those singers from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and early 90s became icons and legends on their talent alone and the most of them were solos or with a band and we were spoiled during those decades and there are a metric ton of them during those times that would run circles around the current generation of singers, songwriters whatever.

If I was you I wouldn’t go around saying “what is this guy’s name” and stuff.. It just shows how deattached you are from the greatest and most well known music and artists in the entire world. This is real proper music - real rock - that was played and listened to worldwide before all the lame cheap rap and pop shit even existed.
