I really liked your thoughtful comments on all aspects of this amazing band (original lineup) and song!! Its very satisfying when someone appreciates the finer points of music and lyrics! Please listen to the entire "Operation:Mindcrime" album in sequence. A masterpiece of music, lyrics, vocals, and musicianship! They are such a diverse band! You asked for some ballad-esque songs: "Another Rainy Night" "Anybody Listening?" "I Will Remember" "Della Brown" (bluesy) "The Killing Words" (MTV Unplugged 1992) Just to start you out. My favorite band in the universe! I've seen them many times live, and I've NEVER seen better live shows than theirs,!! ❤ Glad you did one of their great songs, and hooe you do MORE!

This is another great concept album where you really need to listen to the entire album rather than breaking it up into individual songs and losing the context.

Another great new artist! This is an amazing concept album, that is best appreciated when listened to in its entirety. They do have many great albums you’ll need to explore. Got a chance to see Queensryche back in 1994, and that is when I was introduced to Type O Negative as the opener. I’ve suggested TON before to you with a few of their tamer songs. I know a majority of their music may be out of your comfort zone. I’m not a big fan of a good bit of their music, but there are several of them that are epic. The album “October Rust” from 1996 has somewhat more ballads than others The track “Burnt Flowers Fallen” starts out with sheep sounds, “Love You to Death” features Peter Steele’s low voice in sections and many “dreamy” passages, “Haunted” is a 10 minute masterpiece again featuring Peters’ very deep voice.
