AB’s expression around the 7:20 mark visually demonstrates one’s reaction when they realize what the story is about in the music video. Still remember getting chills when I watched it for the first time as a teenager. Side story, I had a band director who was in a car accident with his buddies. A few of them were scratched up (including him) one was okay, but one of his buddies died at the scene. He said he couldn’t watch this music video when it came out cause the scene of the truck rolling reminded him of the accident and the loss of his friend. Took him a while to eventually listen to the song on its own, but the video is still a bit touchy for him.

Fun fact, their lead singer Gary Levox has been friends with Jamie Foxx for a couple decade and they were even roommates at one point. Jamie sang on at least one of their tracks on an album too. They were a hit machine band for a long time before they just recently disbanded.

Well, according to Gary, one of the reasons they decided to break up was the constant industry pressure, being expected to release a new album every 18 to 24 months and have videos for half the songs on each release. They did that for 20 years, but when the pandemic hit, they decided as a group it was time to take a collective break for a while. In the meantime, Gary did his own gospel record, which is something he wanted to do for a while but never had time for until now.

I don't think it was about pregnancy either, just she was playing with him and missed the chance to tell him she felt the same way. She just lashed out at her dad as he was the one to break the news to her. She held her stomach when sinking to the floor out of grief.

This song written by Steve Robson and Jeffrey Steele. Will admit don't know much about Robertson however I have watched Jeffrey Steele perform this many many times. He has wrote multiple number one songs and has received many awards. I realize a lot of people relate this song to death, as he wrote it shorty after his teenage son's tragic four-wheeler accident. But after one of his shows he likes to meet and greet his fans. Was able to tell him how I interpreted the song. He told me, "that was the best compliment he could receive as a songwriter". I can still see "the love of my life" just walk away with so much left to say.

Basically when she speaks at the site of his accident you have to think back in the video in the truck where she asks him what he saw in the future and then he asked her what do you see she smiles lovingly then gets out of the truck and runs in the house ( maybe as she's going in to tell her parents about the future), before she gets out he looks at her and smiles and says I see YOU, she never got the chance to tell him what she saw in the future by telling him she was even pregnant what she saw in her future was him and their child, by telling him "I saw you" it's her way of saying I'll carry you into the future also

I remember playing pool at The Dallas Bull in Tampa FL.. there's a amphitheater nearby. I loved this song. Anyway playing pool and next thing I know this song started playing..I was like damn that sounds good..my buddy hits me I turn around and it's Rascal Flatts up on stage playing this song.. the Bull would always get acts coming over from the amphitheater to play a few. Not bad for the 10 dollar cover.

I did hear a rumor that the band may reunite. 🙏 They weren't angry with each other, just wanted to spend time with their families and branch out a little on their own.
