Yyyeesss!!! So happy to see Ren back on the channel! So he has a funny one that's also flexing bars called "losing it" it has more of a techno beat but it's so good. Oh and to get more insight into his struggles "sick boi". Oh and the pig, I believe, represents the medical industry. How they are a "butcher" basically chasing 💵 not helping people. (Not all obviously, but for the most part the medical industry "big pharma" most definitely are 💯😥). He slips in world issues in his bars too. He's like a UK Tom, but more subtle (with speaking on world issues, not subtle on rapping obviously lol he rips that 💯), except with his song "money games" he let's it out! And its rap, but also he sings. It's not like "hi ren". Anyway, yes that is him beat boxing. He also, I believe, makes his own beats for the most part, as well! #RENmakesmusic

For Hi Ren, if you haven't dealt with that level of mental health struggles, it won't likely resonate as strongly. Hi Ren is about ego vs. soul devil vs. god dark vs. light The internal battle we constantly have in our mind.

A lot of people are put off by Hi Ren at first because they were not expecting a nine minute musical theater performance about mental health lol. But once you see that he can do everything, including rap rap, and singing, reggae, and R&B, and play guitar, and produce you eventually get a lot of respect for the guy. Check out Genesis the live acoustic version for hip-hop. It’s a one take and you can really get a good feel for his skills. You can also see his band The Big Push covering. I shot the Sheriff, Road to Zion, hip-hop, all in one video. His voice is beautiful. You can see it in his duet called Chalk Outlines with a woman named chinchilla, who is also fire. I’ve never seen somebody so multitalented and creative in a long time.

Hell yeah this is one of my favorites from him along with Power and chalk Outlines. Power is another full of bars. And chalk Outlines shows more of his singing ability. And it has a powerful message but if you do that one do the live version.

Genesis gonna blow your mind. His best rap song in my opinion. Great reaction guys, was nice to go from your Hi Ren reaction to watching him show you something different on this one. I think the thing with Hi Ren is it’s not really a radio song that you can just listen to on your headphones or in your car, it’s intended to be more of an audio-visual performance piece - an artistic performance. Kinda like Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ it’s all about the video (performance) rather than the song itself, MJ had much better songs. Ren just speaking his soul.

Yes, Give Hi Ren another look. That is a piece of art not a song. You have to go way below the surface to really appriciate what its about. As an older person suffering with medical conditions if find it an amazing piece. I'm not a Rap fan but I really enjoy his videos for some reason. We used to have no problem listening to songs that lasted between 10-25 min back in the old days. It was a whole different experience putting on an album from start to finish on a high end stereo or quad system. Most music today is like fast food. I mean you wanted us to be patient while you peed.

He’s more versatile than you can even begin to imagine. Everything is Ren. He writes, sings, raps, produces, beatboxes, (yes those sounds are him.) plays 6 instruments. REN’s Rabbit hole is deep. So many different genre’s. Hi Ren was ‘bardcore’ it’s literally changed my life, but I also realise that some people don’t have the capacity to engage with something so deep. On that basis I’d suggest you stick to his more fun rap songs. ‘What you want’ and ‘Genesis’ ‘’losing it’ Fischer retake and ‘power’ Ren puts up the song words for every song in the description or first comment.
