Bobby Hatfield, higher voice, sang Unchained Melody. Bill Medley, deep voice, sings I Just Wanna Make Love to You. They usually sing together but can also sing alone. Great duo. Just listen to their harmony.❤❤❤❤

Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes also sang I've Had The Time of My Life which is one of the many songs on the soundtrack for Dirty Dancing as another song to appreciate the dulcet tones of Mr Medley's vocal prowess. Mr Hatfield had a 3 octave range and it is why you hear a soaring sweep between notes on Unchained Medley

First listen to how it was intended. A trumpet solo by the Novosibirsk Philharmonia or sung by Ella Fitzgerald will do. Then Bobby. He gives it some real juice. And you'll hear some James Brown style horns, which add alot. By the way, there are two versions on youtube. One is live, the other is the album. Both are exciting, but I prefer the album.

You've got a cat! You're alright in my book lol. and you're listening to the greatest duo of the 1960's. Just before they broke through with this song nationally, the previous summer, 1964, they were an opening act for the Beatles. They left the tour because they got recording contract, and the outcome was this single. They really should make a motive about these two, they do everyone else, why not. They were a phenomenon.

Great Reaction!!! YOU are exactly Right! This performance by the Righteous Brothers MOVES YOU, ME, US!!!!!!!! This particular performance is just SO U-N-I-Q-U-E...nothing really like it. Bill's deep "I need your lovin'" then Bobby's so high emotional "I NEED YOUR LOVIN'" ....just shocks and blows you away!. How they came up with this arangement, choreography, call and counter call...IS A MIRACLE!!!! Is there any wonder that this song, by these guys was the most played/requested song of the whole last century??? And..after seeing and hearing them like this (*****so lucky we are that this was audio/video recorded so well) ... WHAT CAN YOU SAY?!?!? Daveeezy, you had a great, honest, felt Reaction...to one of the greatest musical performances EVER. Subbed!

Bobby Hatfield (on the right at the start of this video) sang the solo of Unchained Melody) most probably the greatest tenor in rock history. Bill Medley has "probably" the most recognized baritone/base voices in rock history. They are without doubt the greatest rock duo (aside from Simon and Garfunckle) to have graced the musical world in the last 100 yrs.

Exactly they don’t know what real music is. I was born in 1961. I cut my teeth on the righteous Brothers and then my daddy took me through Hank Williams Senior. My love of music has grown through the 50s the 60s the 70s with the help of my kids the 80s and the 90s. I mean dude it’s 2023. My children have children that are old enough to drive cars. Music runs through my veins. I can’t not know the lyrics. I have to know. I can’t sing. My kids would say mama please don’t sing. But I expose them to every genre I could. And they intern exposed me to their music. They can all carry a tune. Some of them actually have bands. But this song is pivotal. Seeing brothers reacting to it is so cool. Especially Mr. DL Boyd. One of my favorite brothers. I’ve lost my real brother to self induced death. He was of the punk rock era. He influenced me and I influenced him. That’s all I got to say about that.

OMG! I just want to put my face in that cat's belly! SO SWEET...LOVE! You can pause and rewind as much as you like-just as I did an unknown number of times to see that beautiful Bweep!!! ❤ As far as the actual purpose of the video...I too listen to a very broad spectrum. And with some music, I still remember the first time I heard it and/or the person that introduced me to it. It's a beautiful thing. I've never understood why anyone would close themselves off and only listen to one genre, or era. Even current music-which I generally don't like-has legit value. I'll put it this way...I've never been an overall fan of Picasso, but just because I wouldn't want it on my wall doesn't mean I don't see and appreciate his raw artistic ability and genius. There is, however, one painting from his Blue Period that I would love on my wall..."The Old Guitarist".

They’ve heard Glenn Miller’s Chattanooga ChooChoo, Gene Kelly, singing & dancing Singing In The Rain, the oldest always loved hearing Ray Charles’s Hit The Road Jack & Steppenwolf’s Born To Be Wild.
