No, its a literal diss he clearly says were in a war with butterflies (mumble rappers) it's a retort to al, of the disrespectful kids who don't know their history hence why he literally says don't you ever fucking disrespect the catepiller (the OGs) he's schooling them but also making it very clear that he will end them. Em comes in and puts a nail on the coffin he's not trying to drop gems he's trying to completely eliminate the butterfly hence the ripping their wings off line. This isn't a J Cole song preaching and sympathizing with the new gen these two are shitting on them.

Royce and Eminem are extremely close. I think he went on The Breakfast Club and was talking to Joe Budden and all those idiots, and they were talking shit about Eminem being a guest in hip-hop. Royce got so mad, he said, I will bring death to your doorstep! Royce is a real one, and him and Eminem have mad respect for each other

Royce is hot. Royce came up with EM. They are good friends, he was his hype man before proof. I would almost say Royce is in his prime right now. He's been one of the most underrated/overlooked rappers for damn near 2 decades, but right now royce is hot. He's getting recognition. His last 2 or 3 albums are straight gasoline... Man if you like lyricists, start listening.... and like you said... this dude got a lot of life lessons to tell through his music.

Bro he has bars! You have to check out "You gon learn" from music to be murdered by! He produced that beat for eminem amd they both rap on it. Another really good one is "psychopath killer " from the Shady XV album. It has Royce, Eminem, yelawolf and slaughterhouse! Both of those songs are bangers! Also some more rappers to check out definitely Tech N9ne, Token amd Hopsin. They all have bars!

Ok so, Eminem and Royce met in 1997... Check out the Duo Bad Meets Evil. The album was released in 1999, and the duo is comprised of Eminem, and Royce 59. Scary Movies is a track worth mention. Royce has been in the game as long as Em.

Royces catalogue is legit slept on pre 2010. He isn't underrated anymore, but he very much was, and sadly it was down to his own actions that he didnt hit that wave back in 2000, Me and my friends loved him through it though.
