Even though skid row with Bach is my favorite band of all time and Bach is my favorite singer. I think Bruce Dickinson would be right up there with him. Higher notes definitely bach lower notes Bruce. Either way both sing in a way nobody else can match!

@@galloway2364 Ive watched dozens. Ive sung his songs in cover bands... No, he can´t sing live (nowhere near close to his studio performances, anyway). There are a few concerts when he was at least decent (Kawasaki 1989 and the recorded rehearsal video come to mind), but in general he wasn´t able to sing live without running out of air, or quickly ruining his vocal chords with anunhealthy vocal fry.

Skid Row wrote and performed this song about addiction in tribute to Steven Adler who severely struggled with heroin. Steven was young blonde beautiful and talented. That drug took it all away. Very sad. 💔. Vocals by Sebastian Bach…. Great 80s rocker voice. I must give a personal shout out to the cut out leather jeans. Yum.

@@rowanmayfair9249 oh sorry, that was not my intention. I see all the old videos and he was so young beautiful and talented. I love music. Drugs and addiction is such a huge part of this industry and it breaks my heart. I remember watching him on that stupid rehab show. I was horrified. Even Bach. Have you seen him lately? His weed and wine addiction has taken his looks and his voice. He can’t hold the notes and loses his breath too easily. He was a stunning young man but still won’t quit. It took Solinger just last week at 55. I’m sure the damage is done and it’s a matter of time. It all is so terribly sad.

@@Mainecoonlady. I know it wasn't, no apologies necessary. Bach is one that physically gut punches me every single time. He did not age well. My question then goes to wtf happened with Nikki Sixx and Slash?!? Ffs, they DIED, and still look amazing. Genes man, that's the only thing I can come up with. At least with Adler there's medical reasons, his stroke is probably the tip of the iceberg.

since you asked about their name another performer in the 70s I think had the name skid row. Anyway, Dave "the snake" Sabo the lead guitarist and Rachel Bolan the bassist were a song writing duo for other bands that went by skid row productions. Dave the snake was Bon Jovi's original guitarist when they were trying to make it. They made the song Runaway together. But that band broke up before a record label picked it up. By that time Jon Bon Jovi had to form a whole new group and just went with his name as a solo artist. It got so popular the new band became Bon Jovi since Bon Jovi's brother was also in the band. Fast forward to when Dave and Rachel formed this band and wanted to try and make a go with their band Jon helped them get a deal since Dave helped him originally and had written a few songs for Bon Jovi and other bands. Bon Jovi's management told them they got the right to call the band skid row but apparently the guy with the name originally said no but his management team said yes. So to this day they're still named skid row because the management teams of both parties worked it out but the guy with the original band name of it still denies it. And, skid row the life and place was called skid row way before either of the bands.
