SlipKnot was the gateway to metal for me. I still remember back when in 2012 I started digging metal. You must check out The Heretic Anthem, All Hope Is Gone, Left Behind, Pulse Of The Maggots, Dead Memories, Snuff, Sulfur and Vermillion Pt. 2 as well.🤘🏻😁

Listen to Red Flag, another great song by Slipknot. As well as Psychosocial, Solway Firth, pretty much anything/everything from Slipknot. Even the Gray Chapter. They got some good stuff in there.

You are going to read this alot- How the HELL have you not heard slipknot? A few things- 1. You have a ton of content to work through coming at you. 2. You are going to need different headphones because those are not going to stay in your ears through these songs. 3. Go easy on the chair... I would suggest starting on the softer side to ease you in, "Wait and Bleed", "The Devil in I", "Duality". Everyone else will help you with the harder songs that are going to make your ears bleed. GOOD LUCK!

Until a few weeks ago, I never really heard Slipknot, too. Then I "discovered" Corey Taylor and found out, that I love a lot of Slipknot and all of Stone Sour. Could hit myself all day and night for missing out the last 20 years 🤕. Please react to Slipknot: Spit it out (live at Download festival) and Stone Sour: Gone sovereign/absolute zero. Right, time to get you into these guys, too, they're a MUST - Testament: Song (Album name in brackets) The Pale King (Brotherhood of the Snake) Children of the Next Level (Children of the Next Level) The New Order (First Strike Still Deadly) Demonic Refusal (Demonic) Down For Life (The Gathering) True Believer (The Gathering) All I Could Bleed (Low) These are some of my favourites, but I've suggested their First Strike Still Deadly album because it's re-recordings of songs from their albums The New Order and The Legacy. For me the sound is much cleaner and it's harder hitting, but the original versions of all these songs are still kick ass.

Man Slipknot has a lot of variety of songs! This one is one of the most "melodic" ones if you like, similar to this probably: DUALITY LEFT BEHIND PSYCHOSOCIAL WAIT AND BLEED. For the more agressive or heavy stuff (But i'm not sure you are ready for that kind of stuff jaja), you need to hear: PEOPLE=SHIT (come on, that title says it all jajaja) (SIC) DISASTER PIECE THE HERETIC ANTHEM And if you want to hear them on the "sensitive" side: VERMILION SNUFF And, they have a recent album with great songs too. But those are kind of the old stuff to start with.
