But the reality is different from what he wrote in this song, as his father was killed in a genozide in Rwanda shortly after leaving his family. Stromae, the maestro and moseart of our current time. He is a mastermind in combining uplifting dance beats with deep lyricismn. The first song I heard ever heard was Alors on Danse back in 2010 and only thought about it as a party song but years later I first read the translated lyrics and then the song got a whole new meaning. His songs and videos are worth a deep dive.

And then the boy never learns to become a good dad and just becomes just like his absentee father.
