Regarding gents who wear heels. Or just women who care about quality footwear that supports the foot enough to dance in or perch your foot to an unnatural Barbie arch. The shoes have steel shanks and bases. Still frigging hurt but are structurally supportive. There is a good explaination of the science/design behind this in Kinky Boots.
