Jared Leto has many irons in the fire. Thirty Seconds To Mars is the band he formed with his brother Shannon, who is the drummer. He produces the band's videos under the name "Bartholomew Cubbins" because he's just such an artist. The themes for the videos are all carefully crafted with a purpose. But the music is awesome too, and a lot of the later work addresses specific issues. One of my favorite Mars' videos is "Up In The Air".

Of you've never seen the Jack Nicholson movie called The Shinning then this video might confuse you. It's basically styled after that movie. Same hotel uses in the movie. You've probably seen the pop culture reference to it with Jack breaking down the door with an axe and then he says "Heeeere's Johnny!"
