The lyricism in this song is sooo underrated. The double and triple entendres are crazy. 2nd verse is a whole Vegas scheme that most people dont even catch.

Many people don’t realize what Jay Z did in the 3rd verse. In this verse Jay Z start’s by comparing himself with a gun as dangerous as Jet L I (Jet Li) with a nunchucks. Then he goes on with the Jet Li’s reference when he said “I’m the one, thus meaning no one must try. No two, no three, no four know why? ‘Cause one’s, four, five might blow your high!” Jay Z was basically making reference to one of the Jet Li’s movie titled ‘The One’. A movie about multi-universe where Jet Li has basically hundreds of himself scattered in every universe, till all his other selves started getting assassinated by one of himself name Yulaw, who wants to be the only one left because he claims his other selves as just irrational, hence I quote from Jay Z lyrics “Because 1 4 5 might blow your high!”
