BF, this might be your first run-in with Van Hagar? I think up to now you have only reacted to the OG Van Halen with David Lee Roth on vocals and acrobatics. This is essentially Van Halen 2.0. After DLR left, they got Sammy Hagar (this vocalist) to replace him. There are a lot of opinions and just as much drama from fans about that. Don't let yourself get caught up in it. Both versions of VH are still amazing. I think even for the die hard DLR fans, it's still common knowledge that although he was a hell of a showman, Sammy was the better vocalist and no slouch on the stage either. I love both versions equally, see I'm a die hard VAN HALEN fan, no matter which vocalist....😒 Don't nobody come at me with that Gary Cherone nonsense! 😂

Now I don't care for the light haired one Sammy Hagar replaced David Lee Roth as the lead singer and half us never got over it and fans are split now since late 80s when the band broke up and they made diss albums to each other...one was called OU812 (Oh You Ate One Too)...that album they had with the angel smoking a cig was the first record I bought with my own money and I wore it out! David Lee Roth was my first concert on my own....met some guys, wandered off into downtown Dallas at 13 and had to have friends Dad pick us up lost at midnight hahahahahahaha
