They just released "XTRA XG #38 (‘WOKE UP’ MV & Photoshoot Behind)" pretty cool video also show some of their personality and bond with each other and their manager, they have such a great chemistry with everyone super wholesome to watch

You guys want to see and hear them harmonize. Have you guys listened to Winter Without You? If not, listen to that and also watch the The F1rst Take and It’s Live performances. Their vocals will blow your mind away. And listen to their recent Vox 6. It’s a cover song by FLO. And XG is a dance crew that has 7 amazing vocalists and rappers. You guys have to check out their whole discography, there are no skips at all

Now THIS is how you do a reaction! No constant stopping, no talking all the way through and throwing headphones on the desk at every verse 😄 I've written and produced for a lot of artists and bands both here in London and in the States for many years - more recently got a lot of very well known Kpop and Jpop artists. It's a lot of hard work and the work ethic of most of these groups is absolutely insane. So it's really nice when reactors actually listen to and appreciate the work. Of all the groups I've produced XG fall within a very specific and small group in that they perform songs entirely in English. Usually we mix languages and a lot of our groups are either multilingual when they arrive or have language lessons while trainees. XG have no weak links and I can think of only three other Kpop or Jpop groups in the last 10 years of my career where that's been true. 🤓🇬🇧

XG is very inspired by Western artists especially the OG. Cocona (the self-shaved bald rapper) said it herself, during an interview, that the female rapper that made her interested in becoming a rapper is Lauryn Hill and TLC. She started listening to rap especially from Lauryn Hill and TLC ever since she was 3 years old. She started learning how to rap at that age and her parents have been supporting her since then. XG always pay a lot of homage to the OG whenever they release new songs. Check out all of XG Tape 4.

Please watch XG WOKEUP CDTV LIVE! The choreography will stun you!! 🔥🐺🐺🐺🐺 Also if you want to see them all singing, then I suggest watching First Take winter without you. VOX - Chisa, Juria n Hinata TAPE - Jurin, Cocona, Maya n Harvey But in general they can all sing and rap as there are sub vocals who are rappers and sub rappers who are vocals. Excellent analysis of the need to be true to the genre. If you rap, you got to show it. No faking it. Even though the girls do not write their verses, the writers they have are without a doubt some of the most talented out there. And cudis to each of the members, and especially the rap line to be able to have their own identity and be so identifiable, unmistakable with their verses, cadence, rhythm and flow. XG is my favorite group period.

If you want to hear rap line sing Winter without you - Maya shines and Cocona has a little part New Dance - Cocona gets a chance to sing. She has an amazing voice Left Right - Jurin and Maya have singing parts Tapes 1 & 2 you get a chance to hear Harvey sing. Plus most of the songs they sing a chorus but you have to really listen. Like Shooting Star Maya Cocona and Harvey all take a turn singing the chorus

In this one all 7 rapped.. and they can all sing & dance. But they are more like Rap Performers.. not Lyricists.. they´re a Pop group, and thats how they aproach Rap too. For the most part they don´t write their Lyrics... they have writers. you can look ´em up in the credits of the MV. And to me thats absolutely fine, because they are not trying to hide it. Unfortunetly a lot of Alphaz ( fandom name) dont get it and spread " false information". People keep saying they write their own lyrics and all of them are fluent at english... but thats not true. Maya is the only one who can speak fluent to a certain degree ( Thats why shes usually the only one speaking english in interviews) no hate at all ....I´m a huge fan and I love XG for what they are & do🥰 .. but fans need to keep it a 💯 😁

WHAT WAS THAT? Was that J-Hop? I'm not a hip hop kinda guy, but that was ROCKIN'! I got hooked immediately. I was always partial to Nipponese anyway, since I was stationed there for a few years many decades ago I'm going to listen to it again. Gotta tell ya, this was miles better than Hootie and the blowfish.

XG is Japanese trained with the KPOP system and speak Japanese, Korean, and English. However they do not want to be confined to JPOP or KPOP so they call it XPOP, they are simply a Global Girl Group. They do Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, and even have 2 Rock Remixes.
