Damn I love this guy. I don’t even like dogs but he is real. Don’t adopt or buy pets if you can’t handle the responsibility of training them properly.

If you're too loving, get a cat. Cats have their mind on its own and doesn't need lots of training. Dog owner need to be balance in being loving and discipline in order to raise a dog.

I got frustrated when she tried to argue back about the kennel size as if he isn’t a DOG TRAINER!!! I understand that naturally we all want to believe that everything we’re told is true but that’s just not the case in most situations. Being that it’s his profession I would take his word immediately (and research to double check not for reason of doubt but for peace of mind) and I definitely feel like taking in any pet before properly doing research on your own and not through word of mouth is kind of selfish because you don’t know what possible harm could come to your pet or others due to your careless actions. I know it may not be intentional but animals and humans are one in the same as we act on instinct so if they aren’t give the proper necessities then they are going to misbehave and act accordingly. I’m definitely no expert but I feel as though that’s a given. You can’t expect them to have an attitude of gold and sparkles if you only give them the bare minimum to manufacture it.

I feel like if this was a western show, they would have made the owner look bad for entertainment purposes. Here it feels more relatable and realistic. Like she isn't perfect, she's is just too kind and not disciplined enough and that doesn't need outrage, it needs realism.

" i dont want to force her just for training footage " this man.. istg this man is real good with his profession. Honest man with his job and it is not all about cash. He is the kind of person who will answered " because i love dogs" when someone ask why he become a professional trainer and then stick with his word. You know what i mean? It's not like " oh im become a lawyer bcs i wanna bring justice" but then taking bribe and 'justice' not even in your book. Idk how to word this more properly but yea.

I love how realistic he is. I know the owner cares for the dog. But If it’s only in her care temporary it wouldn’t do the dog any good if she got too attach to her. I hope they can figure a way out so she doesn’t have to let the dog go. I think before adopting an animal research is extremely important. It’s like raising a child. When new mothers get pregnant they do all sorts of research about child care to ensure their child becomes healthy. It’s the same with animals. You need to do the research to make sure they have a healthy upbringing.

its true the dog is just not fit for her. she is just very very soft and too caring.the dog needed a strong leader. i have 5 large dogs and one of em have same problem as that dog on show coz my cousin was overbearing with too much affection to the point that the dog became aggressive towards strangers n other dogs,my cousin gave it to me and it took a lotta trainning for him to chill d f down,gotta show em who the boss is, discipline, assertiveness while staying calm. ceasar milan shows helps me get tips too lolx

I love him being realistic. Every dogs owner esp big dogs like that must train their dogs since they're still puppies. Unless they will be dangerous to people live nearby. They're still animal. You must train them how to live among human. And this dog owner stubborn as hell.

The trainer spoke to her on behalf of the dogs, I search for kennels that are suitable for dogs. The kennel should be higher and wider than the dog. Meaning the dog could stand inside the kennel. I understand the frustration of the trainer when the owner said those words. He also always use calm tone but during that particular time, he blew up. So don't mess with him or the dogs.

I think a lot of owners, especially when they adopt them from a shelter, automatically assume that what a dog needs most is love and affection. Yes, that's true but they also need discipline and structure. It's one thing to love your dog and another to coddle them to the point that no matter what they do they will just be removed from the room and cuddled until they calm down. Raising a pet is a challenge of balancing your love for them and the need to teach them "manners" because you never know what could happen to someone or something else as a result of a poorly trained animal.

often we expect a dog trainer to TRAIN the Dog, but sometimes, its the DOG OWNER who needs to be trained to be proper Caretaker for their Dog, Different Dog breeds have different personalities, some of them need a lot of space to run around, some need a lot of attention. Often dog owners just adopt a car from photos of them during puppy time and think they are "cute" and dun understand what it needs or how to take care of them, then claim they are "BUSY" and leave the dog locked alone at home for so long and go partying with friends and such.

Wow this show reminded me of Its me or the dog. Victoria, the dog trainee is really stern and so professional with her work. It doesn't seem like she's training the dogs though, she was able to train the owners as well on how to manage their own dogs.

When having dogs, it's a balance between being the boss, and knowing when being affection with them and when to totally ignore them. We had three dogs, we was very strict with them and since we owned and old farm, we would just let them out in the morning, give them food and that's it. If they want being petted or want to talk, they would come to us. if they want pet, they would just lay there head on our lap. other than that we ignored them, we was the boss! They had there own space under the staircase, it was simple, just a carpet and one small madras, and under the staircase, the oldest dog, was the boss.

To borrow the words of Caesar Milan, a dog has the following three needs (other than food and shelter) in strongly DESCENDING order: exercise, discipline, and affection. This is not what most modern dog owners do, hence the problems like we see in this show. And this is the same for dogs and humans but affection does not equal love. If you truly love someone, it is not enough to just drown them in affection without thinking about their emotional needs. To do that is the antithesis of love - you are just loving the idea of what a loving person you are.

I thought it is fun adopt a dog because I always see how affectionate a dog to their owners, and it is possible to train them maybe to do things that can help us in little things like carrying a thing. But after this show, I just know its not easy adopt a dog. Compare to cat, maybe they just need to be feed and give their comfortable home, that's enough and they will mind its own business haha. But to dog, you have to sacrifice your life, your time, your patience to adopt them. Thanks KBS for doing this type of show.

I'm not fond of dogs bec. they scare me so much but- honestly, when I saw the kennel in the others clips, I wondered why is it small when she has a husky? Like won't it make them feel suffocated or closed? No more room to breathe or they're forced to bottle things up when they're inside the kennel.
