Abbie's first time iceskating...well, she wore skates and was on ice. The big win was wearing the helmet though. Floridians on ice skates. It just doesn't belong. It's our last day of the cruise so we tried to squeeze in as much as we could.

I love watching Abbie communicate! The way you could see her think “I want to say something” and then get her bag, unzip it, find her device, go to the right pages, and select what she wanted to say. So great to see her do all of that independently!

The other big song we sing is the “fields of Athenry” we would sing this at rugby matches. You should check out Ireland vs New Zealand in the rugby World Cup. We sang our hearts out !!!

i have completely fallen in love with your little family. I struggle as a single mum bringing up my two daughters, my youngest has type 1 diabetes dx new years eve last year, and medically, emotionally and physically still coming to terms with it all. Yet, I watch your vlogs and you bring so much comfort to my life knowing there are others battling different situations and remain positive. Im so glad I found you guys. I love how Abbie just grabbed her communication device out of her backpack when she wanted to communicate something - I've been working back through the old vlogs recently and its when I see things like that that I think you can really see how much progress she's made with her communication and independent thinking in the last few years - so awesome!

In the Netherlands we call the cookies Abbie had, "lange vingers" 》 Long fingers. We eat them with coffee or tea and we use them to make Tiramisu.

I feel so sad watching you guys finish your vacation! Felt like I was there! 😀As a parent it was sad watching you all saying bye to Chris! I don’t want this to come across as insulting, but I LOVE how nicely dressed Abbie is all the time! I’m new to your community and have watched a few videos and I’m always finding myself thinking’ “Wow, I love her shirt!” Or “I love those yoga pants!” I love that it’s not always just a tshirt and shorts or pants. I just want to say her outfits are always so cute! Love your videos! 😁

i live in Canada so ice skating is a yearly tradition that is really easy to get the hang of because i've done it all my life, watching you Floridians try to skate was absolutely hilarious! its not easy at first and you look so silly getting the hang of it- apart of me is still mind blown with all the things the cruise ship has to offer!!

I was so sad when we had to leave our cruise too. I wanted to stay on the ship. Y'all looked like you had such an amazing time. I am so happy y'all found something that you could all enjoy. It was a great way to spend time with Isaiah since this is his senior year and you could really focus on him a lot. Love your family ♥️💙💙💙

So happy that you guys enjoyed your trip. It’s wonderful that Abbie was very relaxed and enjoying herself. What a great idea that Royal Caribbean’s cruise line did this trip for families with Autism. They deserve a lot of recognition for doing this. More cruise lines should follow suite. How great that the whole family doesn’t have to miss out on any of the activities, and the whole family has fun. Safe trip home 🏠.

I loved the skating!! I live in 🇨🇦 and have been skating since I could walk (30 years 😅). I forget that other places aren’t a frozen wonderland for 8 months of the year. I’m so glad you guys had a great time cruising!

The “get on the boat, unpack & not have creased clothes cause they weren’t in ur suitcase” was 1 of my favs when I went cruising! U go to different places/ports-NO “Transfers”/packing stuff up/unpacking/packing again/living out of ur suitcase! With a cruise it’s just pack @ home, unpack on the boat, then pack up at the end! Easy & simple!!!

Oh my goodness the towel folding class was so fun on the cruise I was on. I almost said it was my favorite but yeah no, the beauty of Alaska and watching the wild life off the balcony was definitely the most favorite activity of my cruise vacation.😊

iwanna behere I started in April and watched every single one. I feel like I know these guys for real. You can really see how far Abbie has come and I’ve learned to think more about how the world might look from Abbie’s eyes. Just an amazing family. FYI - the early videos are not as easy to watch. Asa has totally grown as a KZfaqr. Enjoy!
