After arriving we explore the La Fortuna town center, try our first Costa Rican plate dish, head to the grocery market, and finally explore the Arenal Sanctuary reserve and spot some cool wildlife!

Costa Rican food is sooooo yummy!!! The owner of that place was such a sweetheart too, we went back to see her like 10 times. 😂

Hi I'm costa rican, the food at 12:10 is a salad made of beet, mayonnaise, egg, etc... we call it russian salad, and it is eaten pretty much in every latinamerican country. Nice video btw

@@IfWeGoTo we don't vlog, but we do follow several vloggers that are in Costa Rica. We are staying in Samara next and living life for a week as retirees with no car! This is going to be a different trip since our first trip was a lot of driving, hiking, zip lining etc.

We were very happy to get the opportunity to visit Costa Rica, it had been high on our list for years! The pandemic is a bummer, but you’ve gotta make the most of it where you can! oh my goodness I think we were in La Fortuna at exactly the same time. can't believe we missed you guys! We even went to the same soda and supermarket! We were in La Fortuna from the 28th of August until the 7th of September and we did a shop at Mega Super on the 5th of September, which looks like it was the same day as you. so close and yet so far! We actually released a video this week that included shopping at Mega Super as well - great minds think alike! How good are the casados at Soda Visquez! yum 😋 the owner there was really nice as well.

Both are amazing places that have so much to offer! We would’ve stayed in Mexico, we’d planned on going to Mexico City, but we’ll just have to wait until covid passes to see it properly I think :)

@@IfWeGoTo same about Latin America 😭 my number one is Seoul! which you also can't get to right now 😑 but also if you're just traveling around Europe, I'd totally recommend Turkey right now! It's getting kinda cold, but its pretty open covid wise and soo many amazing places to see! We just did a month there and both loved it!

It is beautiful! We’ll definitely return one day! Any recommendations on areas to see? We definitely want to include Corcovado next time.. but not sure what else! No we unfortunately didn’t do that trail! For us, we like longer hikes and between the entry fee/short hike distance we decided that we wanted to put the money towards something we could enjoy a bit longer!

You guys will be fine!! It’s surprisingly modern there!! We really liked the Tirimbina reserve and Braulio Carillo national park!! Lots of people do Monteverde too!! We didn’t make it out there but it seems like a must!

That’s correct! If you’re fully vaccinated you don’t have to have it! It’s either or. :)

Did you know that Costa Rica and Chile are the only countries in Latin America that you can drink directly from the tap (drinking water) ¡¡Pura vida!!, Hope enjoy my country.

Hi there!! For us it was USD $984.66 (352 of that was liability protection) You could probably get it cheaper if you plan ahead better than we did!! We booked it literally like a week before! Lol Hope that helps! :)

@@IfWeGoTo Costa Rica do not have a mandate while you are outdoors, is up to you but indoors required. Problably for some tours is gonna be required. Have fun!!
