Welcome back to another video so today its our First Time in FIJI! What do we think of Fiji? This is our first time to Fiji so this is our first impressions of Fiji and what its like!! What did we think of Fiji? There is so much to do and see in Fiji and Fiji is a place you have to travel too. there are so many things to do in FIJI.
We are so excited to explore this beautiful country and definitely make it not our first time anymore!!

I lived in Fiji for two years. All I can say is, it gets so much better the more you see the outer islands, where no tourists go. The Lau Islands and Kadavu are good examples...

Yes Denarau marina is man made for years. It is for Tourism Industry mostly but also for anyone who loves exploring Fiji islands for years even before 2020. Good to see Kiwi tourists back in Fiji again in numbers respect

I stayed at Sunset View too, that room 🤣 I can see Mama on this video welcoming at Beachcomber. I miss all of them! Mama, Sony, Anna, Elenoa and all staff there 😭

@@TravelKiwi already got my trip planned and just recently went to Iceland and Ireland 2 trips combine and thinking about doing Germany,Austria,Belgium and Denmark next year thinking about Australia,Fiji and New Zealand. Hahaha im a bit bias as im a kiwi so i will always say NZ haha! both have alot to offer it really depends on what you are looking for? AUS had great beaches and city life where nz has alot of natural beauty like lakes ansd mountians in places like Queenstown and mt cook etc! NZ is easier to travel because its smaller! Aus is beautiful though just harder to get to places like spread so fly everywhere! :) Hope this helps! :)

What a beautiful VLOG!! had to watch it again to fully enjoy it... Fiji looks sooo beautiful! even when anna danced with the locals. Thats a great spirit to start the adventure :D, love how the locals greet their guest by singing "BULAAA" was it super hot in Fiji?? lately here in the Philippines and also Bali its an average of 31 degrees and it gets so hot :O , the excitement of Anna with TURTLES HAHA, you guys are definitely living up that island life! by the way I love them drone shots they give the video so much life in perspective!! Love the vlog :D

Most Island Resorts in Fiji have nurseries for turtles , corals, and other marine life and also are onsight marine biologist

The turtles aren't actually in captivity. Climate change has affected our shores and marine life. Most of our resorts have turtle/shark nurseries 😊

Hey M!!! Hope your well!! Hahahaha oh my gosh I was so excited for the hammock!! The best thing ever! Booze prices are allgood around $6.50 for a beer in bottle that’s in Fijian! Not bad at all aye!!! Fiji gold is the best beer there!!! :)

Hello! I was using a go pro hero 9 :) We did have the under water attachment though its like a small fish eye that gives that cool perspective of over and under water! :) hope this helps!

Hey Sam! Thanks so much! Nope we didn’t when we went we just brought state insurance to can buy any insurance as long as it covers covid :) all documents get checked before boarding the flight so you won’t be allow on if you haven’t done this! :)

FYI, those turtles would have been rescued from hurricanes, predators etc and will be set free back in the wild after a period of time.

Nope no quarantine just a negative covid rest before entering fiji! Yes you also need your vaccination card to travel anywhere internationally :)

Thanks for the concern but those are rescued from predators and during cyclones, will be freed as soon as they can. There is a ban on turtle hunting and selling since 2009. Also their nesting season is from October till June and it's very difficult for hatchlings to survive out in the ocean. It's part of a turtle conservation program that nests are identified, monitored and hatchlings are placed in a pond until they are less vulnerable and are able to take care of themselves, they are released back between 6 months to 24 months old.

Have been going there for 16 years booked to go this year but we only fly business class but they wanted 8thousand dollers flying fiji airline if they bring the prices down will go back

Hello! You just need a valid passport and negative covid 19 test to enter fiji! It’s good idea to have travel insurance too!:) otherwise your allgood to go! :)

We had a booking somewhere else but my wife reckons through a vlog that the beach wasn't great. Then she saw your vlog and changed the booking to Beachcomber Island resort. The beach was great but the hotel is a shack and within the first few hours we wanted to leave! Dirty and old. The price of accomodation plus the transfers would almost equal other better places without the transfers. #donttrustvlogs

thanks for the feedback! it depends where you stay on beachcomber as i said in my video! you have to research and look at the accommodation best suited to you. they have great rooms to just hostel beds again you need to check whats best for you :) hope you had a great time-in Fiji otherwise
