Legendary record. I hate it when people call Travis a copycat. This album was easily one of the most influential trap albums of the decade and pushed the genre forward. Travis deserves RESPECT

Fr, every artist in history has taken inspiration from the ones who came before them. You can hear the ye and cudi etc in travis but he makes it his own and its the best of both worlds

I think they just call Travis a copycat because of utopia. rodeo was an innovative and fresh sounding album at the time.

definitely created a new genre with this project. he took the southern rap scene style and added a psychedelic musical aspect to it. he pretty much made rap “beautiful” as i like to say. i remember bumping this back in the day and not appreciating it as much as now with all this wack music coming out. miss that 2015-17 era

You're absolutely spot on with his artist name btw. "Travis" is his uncle's name, his favourite person. "Scott" is for his favourite artist Kid Cudi, and his name is Scott Mescudi. Together it's "Travis Scott"

@@User98q Rodeo is his best album. My personal favourites are Oh My Dis Side, 90210, and Maria I'm Drunk. I suggest searching up Rodeo AOTY and looking at t he reviews and maybe go from there. Personally this is my favourite album of all time tho this shit is was beautiful man

"it feels like a movie in your headphones" EXACTLY. travis understands what good production on an album sounds like. kanye being a huge influence and mentor on his flow and production also helps big time as well not really drake lol. Also travis comes from his uncles name and scott comes from kid cudi (his favorite artist) who's real name is scott.
