So Yoongi is eating almonds as he watches himself go thru the traumas. The events he spoke of were real-his mom required heart surgery almost immediately after his birth, he hid injuries incurred while doing a delivery job from Big Hit bc he feared they would let him go if they knew he was working while being a trainee, and his dad was diagnosed with cancer while he was in Malta filming a BTS vacation show. He suffered from depression, OCD and social anxiety thru most his early years with BTS. He admits to having thoughts of suicide during those days. This mv hit ARMY hard as most of us knew of his struggles and seeing it as he tried to come to grips with it in this song was tough.

He was in an accident at the beginning of his training days because he was secretly working as a food delivery boy. His bike got hit by a car. He hurt his shoulder very badly but was fearful of telling the company at first cuz he feared he would be cut. They weren't allowed to have outside jobs but he did it cuz he needed the money. He lived through years of pain and trauma from it till he finally got surgery.

*My own thoughts on Agust D's Triology:* Yoongi has shared his mental health issues with us since the beginning, and he stated how some of his roughest times were in the early days, like from 2014 to 2016, how he developed social anxiety at age 18, he was dealing with depression and OCD. BTS had hate coming at them from all angles, and it took a toll on them in the early years. So hearing all the other things he was dealing with as well, just puts things into perspective. He's such a strong person. In the making video, he said the scars we create are of our own making. So the best way for him to represent that was the way that he did with the scar on his face. And the medicine he took was for his condition. He talked about how he saw a psychiatrist and his parents went with him, and they said they didn't know who he was anymore. This was in "The Last" from his first mixtape Agust D. He said how could anyone know him when he doesn't know himself, so that phrase "I don't know your name" made sense to me. Looking back at repressed memories. Thankfully he got through all of it, and now is healed to a certain degree. I see the rain as a shift., He also talked about "What doesn't kill you make you stronger", and he is now blooming like a lotus flower. The lotus flower is very resilient, and can grow in mud and water, like on a lake or pond. So I see the rain as cleansing, and healing. He also said in the behind the scenes on Daechwita, that the mad King was the Agust D from his first Mixtape in 2016, and the peasant was from his 2020 mixtape D-2. You can see the scar is very raw in that video on both of them, maybe slightly less for the 2020 Agust D. In Haegeum, I interpret it as Agust D from 2020 is the Police detective/corrupt Boss, with the partially healed scar, and the Agust D that kills, and steals the money with no scar is D-Day Agust D. The one that is mostly healed and is talking about freedom. (Do we ever completely heal from our scars?) In an interview with IU, and in the D-Day film, he talks about how he was very angry and now he has forgiven the haters and is living in the present. So his music moving forward may not have the angry vibe that we have seen in the past. But he is definitely not done yet Finally, Yoongi went on a world tour, after this album was released, and at the Final concert, he was very emotional, and had his BTS Bros. and his PEERS there with him. on a couple occasions, ARMY's sang the parts because he was so emotional he couldn't sing. And at the very end, the door he couldn't go through in this Music Video is on the stage, and he's able to walk through now. That tells me that he has healed and accepted those parts of himself, and he can move forward and let go now. You could see the relief on his face and the love as he waved good bye and closed the door. EPIC MOMENT. *Meanings for the song titles* *Daechwita* - is a genre of Korean traditional music consisting of military music played by wind and percussion instruments, generally performed while the ARMY is marching or as a static performance usually when the King is arriving. (Suga aka Agust D meant the BTS ARMY to be implied.) *Haegeum* - has two meanings. The first, it's a traditional Korean string instrument, resembling a vertical fiddle with two strings, usually played at Royal Court. I don't think anyone combines music/rap/art like Suga/Agust D. I have always loved rap but he really opened my eyes to what rap can be. We can go outside the rap stereotypes and make it something beautiful and profound and melodic. He really as a true artist.💜

The D-Day tour, on the final day of the concert, He walked trhough the door. Very emotional track and a true story of his life. This is the final of the trilogy that he did. Very, very, emotional and not exposing himself but also sharing his life with Army, and we love him so much for showing us this side of him. Helps us understand who he is as a person, he is real and goes through things in life like everyone else.

When you watch their old performances with all the hard choreos, one can only imagine the amount of pain that Suga endured and hid all those years after the accident. I'm glad he finally got surgery in 2020. Respect for his persistence and dedication.

It's from his final final concert in Seoul last year at the end of the tour and he finally makes it through that door. Everyone who was streaming live (like me and millions others were definitely ugly crying). It was healing for him and believe you me, if you sat in any of his concerts you had goosebumps when he performed this. Yoongi is so talented. He is the emotional rapper and often raps/sings about his trials and tribulations. He struggled with his mental health early on in his career including thoughts of suicide. Definitely a deeeeep track! Absolutely love Yoongi's story telling ability in his music. Come on!! Using the concept of the Amgydala to personify your feelings about your trauma is really artistic. Its a special song although the way it sounds sonically was my least favorite in the album, i prefer the live version.

This song is auto-biographical. It is HOW he got the scar that he carries in the other two. The scar is a physical representation of his internal scars caused by traumas he's experienced and carries with him. His scar is this video is fresh and an open wound, the scar on the Emperor looks the new but not an open wound, the peasant version's is slightly healed, the mobster boss is completely healed but visible, while the gangster version has no visible scar at all... however, at the very end of "Haegeum", his hair falls over his eye in the exact same spot as the scar. Even though he's healing, doesn't mean the scar/trauma isn't still a part of who is and partly responsible for how he became who he is- it will always be a part of him, he just accepts/understands it now and can leave the anger about it behind. At the end of the MV "Amygdala", he is still trapped behind the door, trapped by his trauma/pain/anger. At the end of his D-Day World Tour concerts, the final show, he actually physically ends the show by opening a door and walking through it and closing it behind him- he's finally let it all go and is no longer trapped/controlled by his anger and trauma. Hi, this is not the third part of the trilogy. I know a lot of quite new ARMY think that. The 1st is Agustd, 2nd is Daechwita, 3rd is Haegeum. The whole story is about all the trauma of Suga's real life. The amygdala is a small part of your brain, but it has a big job. It's a major processing center for emotions. It also links your emotions to many other brain abilities, especially memories and your senses. These emotions, too, can trigger the amygdala's fight-or-flight response. Anger, aggression, fear, and stress are all common emotional triggers. They can cause sudden, illogical, and even irrational reactions. Now some of his more important trauma were: The accident (at the beginning of his trainee days) happened while his was working as a delivery guy to pay his tuition. He sustained a severe shoulder injury from that accident. In fear to be sent home he didn't tell the agency about his injury. Which led him to suffer for years (almost 9 years). The agency however didn't know he was struggling to pay his tuition. Once they heard they decide to pay his tuition His mother heart problem and surgery is also true but she is fine now. And of course his long suffering from depression also true. He had to deal with suicidal thought and was in therapy since he was a kid long before even becoming a BTS member. The door scene is when he had a panic attack and locked himself in the bathroom of the concert venue where BTS was supposed to perform. He couldn't make himself leave the bathroom to perform. Saddest day of ARMY and BTS journey. They were only 4 on stage (one being in the hospital and another one sick) All BTS member were crying, ARMY was crying really hard and loud. The agency decided to stop the nightmare (concert) after only 4 songs and refunded all the tickets. You should be able to see some video of that day on YT. Suga posted a long heartfelt and apologetic letter on their Instagram the next day. And he even talked about it in one of his previous song. But the door also represent him trying to escape the depression, the dark thoughts but not being able to do so. The dark room represent his amigdala, triggering all his dark moments and relieving all those trauma, Thank God he's out of the wood now. He had thank the music and the BTS members for him overcoming depression and doing much much better. Sorry for the long explanation.
