People are all on a sliding scale of what we consider masculinity and femininity but that doesn’t make you a different sex than that of your birth (“gender” is made up bs). Having long hair and wearing lipstick does not make you a woman. You can’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.

There is a noticeable growth with Lana, which is best noticed by going album-by-album. Doing all of the music videos for her 10+ years first might muddle that, but I also understand the appeal of something visual. Lana is outstanding and definitely was a heavy influence on Billie Eilish. Billie has even said that. They are both big fans of eachother. As a matter of fact, Lana did an interview with Billie for a magazine last year. Can’t remember which mag though. You really cannot go wrong with any Lana song or video. The videos that I tend to watch repeatedly are Blue Jeans, White Mustang, High by the Beach, Doin' Time (Sublime cover), Ultraviolence and Don't Call Me Angel (collab with Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus). Other songs that I replay often are 13 Beaches, Cherry, National Anthem, Music to Watch Boys To, Freak, F***d My Way Up to the Top and Chemtrails Over the Country Club. (I am sure that I missed some those lists.) Thanks for a great reaction.

You need to watch Blue Jeans because it follows the story line with the same tatted love interest. Follow that by watching Shades of Cool. In that video, Mr Tats is older and, as seen here, Lana is dead, so Shades of Cool is more of the guy looking back at the relationship and seeing her ghost. Her voice is amazing!

My favorite piece is RIDE. Its rather long but the introduction and the visuals are amazing. She likes themes that are nostalgic and melancholic and include themes of Americana. Enjoy. Billie, Taylor, Olivia, Lorde, etc. sm ppl have been influenced her FROM THE start bc born to die was a cultural reset. to me she created alt pop. Her lyrics and poetry r even better. And nobody has the unique voice she has. Btd is all about a toxic relationship that was bound to fail from the start, or born to die literally, and also btd is ab yolo, going w the flow of life and having fun at the same time.
