Love it. On his release day twitch stream, Ren said he's got a sixteen track album coming this summer, and we've only heard about three of the songs so far, so there's much to look forward to. 🙂

Ren is a humble guy but I really like that he decided to flex on this track! It's like he's had a confidence boost from all the love he's been receiving!.. I look forward to seeing the growth of this man's unbelievable talent.

@@TeslasTeaParty Braggy rap isn't really my thing, but he keeps me on this one with all the subtext to his actual illnesses. When he drops songs it's pretty unlikely we're all going to like every one since he'll be in and out of different genres, but at least we've got 12 more songs to hear before he rights post-Hi Ren stuff.

@@nathandts3401 if this was the first song I'd of heard by Ren I'd probably think yeah he can spit but who the fuck does this guy think he is. But because I know his back story it allows me to put it into some kind of context, Which also means perhaps I won't be so quick to judge other artists off of the back of one or two songs in the future.

@@TeslasTeaParty Yeah, probably wouldn't look further if this was my first experience with his music. Don't know if it'll stop me being judgemental, but I'd written off the entire rap genre however many years ago. Then someone pointed me towards Eyedea and I went down the rabbit hole of underground, smart rappers.

1:48 I will highly recommend "Grace" live by Jeff Buckley. I prefer the "on the BBC one Show" version, but skip the 20 second intro by the presenter, it's cringe. But Jeff was a Ren level musical genius of his time, a singer and guitarist, but died, to soon, just after his first album got him International acclaim. His ode "Mojo Pin" live at Glastonbury is also a masterpiece. Subbed, btw!

You should sort your videos into Lists, thats a lot to wade thru, I cant do it. And get caught up on Ren..your way behind...you've only reacted to 1 of his rap songs I can see ,when he has several. And most are very different, animation, beastie boys/old school, horror/capitalism, biblical, hometown pride,...list goes on.
