Seventeen, although they are under HYBE as their label Pledis Entertainment was purchased, they are very independent with their music creation. Woozi 3:43 is Seventeen's main producer, composer, lyricist and is mainly involved in 99% of Seventeen's songs. This is along with Bumzu, originally their vocal trainer turned main producer. Although Woozi is credited in almost all Seventeen songs, all of the members have writing and composing credits too because all of them are very involved in their music creation. HYBE tried to interfere with their music in one of their albums but it wasn't received very well so they left SVT alone as SVT has always been known as THE "Self-producing idols" since the beginning. They write, compose, produce, choreograph, and even get involve in the creatives of their concept, etc at times. They don't just self-produce as in write one song in one album or produce one song in the album. They are involved in ALL songs and from A to Z.

So, HYBE and YG are not the same. The company SEVENTEEN belongs to is actually PLEDIS however HYBE became a major shareholder for PLEDIS and they've merged but PLEDIS still manages SEVENTEEN. Also, SEVENTEEN is a self-producing group. Woozi, the blonde playing the piano in the beginning, writes I'd say about 99% of their songs (composition and lyrics) alongside BUMZU who is one of the company's producers. If you look at their track listings you will see that Woozi's name is typically first. Woozi said this particular song has elements from previous songs of theirs mixed into it, it was made for their 'Best of' album that they just released. It sounds pretty different from other songs that they've done but they also have a HUGE variety of sounds within their discography. I highly recommend checking out more from them. Lastly, if you love dance then their dance practice are a MUST!! Despite having 13 members, they are known as one the most synchronized groups in kpop.

Seventeen is known as the K-pop Performance Powerhouse, they are self-producing idols and synchronizing kings. There are 3 units: Hip hop unit, vocal unit, and performance unit, but tbh they are all all-rounders. please do more seventeen! they are so versatile and such a great group to get into. there are 13 members (from oldest to youngest: s.coups, jeonghan, joshua, jun, hoshi, wonwoo, woozi, the8, mingyu, dk, seungkwan, vernon, dino) and 3 main units (hiphop, performance, vocal) which all of them are parted into, these are their main fields but they all can do everything. so the reason they are called seventeen (or svt for short) are the 13 members + the 3 mentioned units + that all of them are 1 one team = 17. they were the highest selling artist in the world last year and have sold around 10 million albums overall. they started off from a nearly bankrupt company that they single handedly saved. they are known for being self producing which includes writing, composing and producing, as well as self choreographing and being THE performance powerhouse, having the best synchronization and having really good teamwork. they also have their own variety show called "going seventeen" where they show off their chaotic and fun nature.

The back story on this one is the Studios told Woozi (the blonde playing the piano on top of the building) to use AI. Because they told him too he tried it and disliked it. So, in response he wrote this song, basically saying AI will never replace humans or him. If you rewatch the video you will notice how they beat the robots and out preform them.

i think what you mention about the similarities is just a kpop thing, more than a label thing,particularly in this case because eventhough they are now under hybe their actual label is pledis, that was bought by hybe in 2020 and they have been around since 2015 with very different types of songs through the years. Usually the similarities in the sound of same label groups comes from the fact that they tend to be trained by the same people so they develop a similar singing or dancing styles for example, or some labels have also in house producers or usual collaborators that have a particular style, or sometimes a label would also favor certain overall aesthetic. In Seventeens case I think they have a very pledis way of singing and dancing, and because bumzu is also a main producer of their songs some sound similar to other songs he has made for other pledis artists
