I think you are definitely ready to check out Heaven and Hell album. It's the album that Dio made with Black Sabbath,so it has the mix of Black Sabbath original style with the style of Dio solo. I would say it's an incredibly strong album with great songs. I would also recommend Screaming For Vengeance by Judas Priest. I remember you listened to British Steel before and wasn't really impressed, which I can see. British Steel was very commercially successful, but I won't call it one of their best. Screaming For Vengeance has more pure metal on it,but it has more commercial and chill stuff too. A perfect place to start in my opinion

If you want to start with Megadeth I recommend: Start with Holy Wars...the Punishment Due (a thrash metal classic, incredible and technical), Hangar 18 (great solo duel), Tornado of Souls (one of the greatest metal solos), Peace Sells (a group's hymn), Mechanix (a song that was composed when Mustaine was a member of Metallica) and Symphony of Destruction (another hymn, easier to listen). It's so cool that you started a new channel for reactions. I'll still be subbed to your original channel though because you're really charming :) Also wanted to say that when it comes to metal, the guitars are always the main part of the song. Since you've reacted to mostly to traditional heavy metal, there's somewhat an equal weightage to both the vocals and the guitars but when you get into the different subgenres that started developing in the 80s, the instruments takes the centre stage over the vocals (you might have noticed this in the Metallica songs). There are a few exceptions to this like power metal, symphonic metal, folk metal. But metal will always be a guitar driven genre of music. As for suggestions, I see that you've got tons of it, so I don't wanna add anything more. I also like this style of reaction video where your listening to 4-5 songs unlike other reactors who listen to a single song and that's it. We probably have to wait another month for another reaction for the same band lol. Anyway good luck and looking forward to more reactions :)

i'm glad you're happy with my decision to start up a second channel! i'm really excited about it myself. that's lovely you still like my other channel too! Ooooo i'm interested in the idea of some subgenres taking a turn towards instruments at centre stage, definitely the instrumentals are some of my favourite parts of these metal songs. FOLK METAL? i'm intrigued hahaah how is that possible hopefully i can get around to posting videos every 2 weeks would be my goal to start out. and thanks for the feedback on the video structure, i find it to be more entertaining than just a one song reaction video too

A Judas Priest deep dive goes without question! Judas Priest was there at the beginning of metal, and innovated and influenced it as much as Black Sabbath. They made leather jackets and motorcycles a staple, they made metal heavier, brought in dual guitars, and are fronted by the Freddy Mercury of metal! I'd recommend The Sentinel (live), Riding on the Wind, Painkiller, Love Bites (Live), Beyond the Realms of Death, Before the Dawn and Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver. Too many to pick but those would be my go to. These songs show off the incredible range of the band (and of the singer's voice). What you listened to in the beginning is a tiny slice of the mighty Priest's catalogue.

I'm pretty sure Ronnie is the best voice we have ever had in Heavy Metal, i will always regret I never went to one of his shows when he was still alive. I saw you are already interested in his Black Sabbath stuff (Heaven and Hell is incredible), but he also sang previously in a band names Rainbow, with awesome stuff too. You should try songs like Stargazer or The Temple of the King from Rainbow. Oh, and someday you should try some current metal, like Babymetal. I bet you will love it. I am pretty interested in your metal journey, gonna follow it. Thank you!

Kira! This is lovely! Ronnie James Dio is my favourite, and if you're digging Dio you must check out Rainbow, his other band. Together with Ritchie Blackmore they were incredible. Recommended songs are Stargazer & Man on the Silver Mountain. If you want to stay in this era of Metal, Judas Priest and Deep Purple should be next on your list.

Funniest Dio comment was regarding a question from an interviewer about the cover of this album (holy diver) I think it was something like... Interviewer: Why is a demon throwing a priest into the ocean? Dio: How do you know it's not a priest throwing a demon into the ocean... very common theme of 80's metal = making people think beyond labels and the media narrative (funny given the state of things today)

SUBBED hope for more reations of all kind {but secretly more metal} also killer dance moves mannn! love how you rock out, am sure loads have asked already for jinjer but just do it, the band is amazing and will not disapoint if just for the reation :) They are a Ukraine metal band that have exploded on youtube they have very many styles in the music ,rap, reggie, punk, jazz, prog, rock ect and course metal they talk alot about there music being light and dark sides of consciousness. A couple of recommendations that you may like. Deep Purple-Child in Time, Motorhead-Ace of Spades and Megadeth, The singer in Megadeth was the original guitar player in Metallica who was kicked out and started his own band. Cheers

@@theasdazx I agree. To be more specific it's the famous live version of "Storytime" from Wacken Open Air concert from 2013. When people are requesting Nightwish, then most of the requests are live versions of this concert and for a very good reason. It's one of the best concerts that ever was and Nightwish had just recently got a great new vocalist called Floor Jansen. Here's a couple of helpful links: NIGHTWISH - Storytime (OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ptybjNqAr8Czfok.html 🎼 Nightwish Live at Wacken Open Air 2013 🎶 Correct speed - FullHD - Remastered 🎶 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/maenp92anLeXcp8.html The second link is the whole concert with the best possible quality. Some of the songs are only available in good quality and with a correct speed from that video. One thing to mention is that many Nightwish fans will want to see you watch (or just listen) the whole song. You don't have to edit some parts out for copyright reasons. Nightwish videos are safe. I'm an old metalhead and I definitely like these reactions to more classic metal bands. So, keep doing what you do. Take care and have a wonderful day.

I watched your first metal reaction video when it was uploaded and now this one, both brings me the feeling of happiness when you recommend a song to a friend and they ACTUALLY listen and LIKE the song y' know what i mean? Keep it up. Recommendations: Judas priest - Painkiller, Motörhead - Ace of Spades and Bomber, Rainbow - Stargazer. (Sorry for any english mistake btw)

Big Deep Purple fan here (Mark II! esp.) and so I followed Rainbow and Dio played with them. I could have seen him in the 80s when he played all the time at the Button I think it was but I missed it. Big Dio fan and nobody was as good as Ozzy with Black Sabbath, except he did it. Amazing dude! Great Reaction and glad you liked the songs

Cool to see you listening to more metal! It seems most people are requesting many of the classics, or more standard heavy metal/thrash metal which is cool (classics are classics for a reason), but I wanted to add in a few other big but different bands and a few songs from each (I came to metal from more of a indie rock, prog, and punk background in my 20s vs having been into it younger). Big one for me that I always want to see is Opeth (Blackwater Park, Rever/Harlequin Forest, Windowpane), Mastodon (Oblivion, Blood and Thunder, The Hunter), Agalloch (Fire Above Ice Below, And the Great Cold Death of the Earth, Our Fortress is Burning II Bloodbirds), Gojira (Flying Whales, Stranded, Global Warming), and as I remember you liking fantasy novels I gotta also mention Blind Guardian who base the majority of their songs on preexisting fantasy and sci fi and even have a Silmarillion concept album (Mirror Mirror, The Bard's Song, Bright Eyes). This is a long comment so totally get if you don't get to any of this but thought I'd throw these out there for variety (and maybe to see some of my favorite bands reacted to lol).

Hey! Loved the vid, is awesome watching people having the same reactions we had time ago when we were discovering metal too. You could make a vid reacting to Dio's others works. Some Sabbath songs, ESPECIALLY Heaven and Hell, but also some Rainbow stuff (Dio's first metal band), try Stargazer. These two are like my favorite metal songs of all time.
