Ladies welcome to the best LIVE metal band playing today. This song is OKAY but not even in the top 10 songs from this insanely talented band!! All these women play different instruments, and they have only been together 3+ years!! The bassist, Miho and the drummer, Haruna came over from Destrose a legendary all female band that has passed talented women on to other bands after their demise. Anyway, Miho wanted a more European sound than what they usually play in Japan so...take Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and mix in some Dragon Force and then have a bluesy vocalist who sings in English (phonetically) and bring it to a whole new level and you have Lovebites. Here are a few songs to see the insane talent of the band all LIVE: Scream for Me (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b7WXZ8qnuLvRc6M.html) Raise Some Hell (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h9NdZt2ZqKzLmJs.html) Empty Daydream (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/or6Ykth-sp-Ymok.html) Ballad with Miyako's classical piano work and guitar riffing with Midori Epilogue (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gK2ql9ahu6q-lYk.html) another piano song that kicks into high gear. Holy War (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mM1xq9N21avHnqM.html) and then you still have so many more great songs to go. The J/Metal and Rock scene for women today is so awesome thank to the Queens who made it possible by kicking in the Boys Club Doors and playing as a all female group, Show-Ya and they are still going today. If you want 80's then Show-Ya's Watashi Wa Arashi (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fqqHmrJ8v56Xhqs.html) will have you smiling or laughing but man these women were exceptional. Today's Band Maid, Lovebites, MAry's Blood, Aldious, Fate Gear, etc all have them to thank for getting this started. Enjoy the journey ladies and stay safe.

Japanese female rock and metal scene is a deep well--once you dive in you may not come back. Some of the great bands include Aldious, Bridear, Band-Maid, Fate Gear, Mary's Blood, Nemophila, Doll$Boxx, and many more. In most of these bands the women play all the instruments (this is where they differ from Babymetal). I suggest you react next to Band-Maid: "Dice" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kNZxjNGHr76dc40.html It's a MV; after that, go to their live shows, they are incredible.

Asami is basically Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden in a white dress. The other name she is sometimes called is "Metal Mariah Carey".

Col reaction. Lovebites start their concert with a galloping tune. Great fun. Lovebites do real heabangers like M.D.O. , Raise Some hell. And epic tunes like The Edge of the World, power ballads like Swan Song and Epilogue. And they even throw in some Chopin into the mix. Their live performances are best (but avoid the Bloodstock video) , the ones from their recent DVD are best, but they sometimes get taken down so you'll have to grab what you can find.

Lovebites brought me here. Like you girls! You are funny and you obviously appreciate real music. So, some background: Lovebites have studied the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and I'd say they aced it all. Now they are taking it to another level. A key aspect of their sound is the difference in personalities between the guitarists Miyako (dark hair) and Midori (ponytail). Midori is the extrovert and show-off, and total shredder; Miyako is the introvert, is also a classical concert pianist, and composes most of their music, along with Miho (bass). Haruna (drums) has been called a pocket nuke, and she goes at that pace for an entire two hour concert. Do more Lovebites reactions, you will not be disappointed.

We may not look like it, but we grew up on Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and similar music, so we are definitely both very much into metal and rock (and most other genres of music)! But we aren't so into it that we were aware of all this awesome music coming from Japan and other places, so this is really a learning experience. Glad we could surprise you! And we are definitely going to react to more music from Lovebites!

Great reaction ladies. Welcome to the world of Lovebites, the best versatile band today, especially live! You should react to more of their videos and you will see how talented these great ladies are. As you will see in your comments from others, there are so many links to choose from. Try them and you will get those feeling of the 80's metal as you mention in your reaction. I've been through the 80's metal and yes this band brings me back to it.

I enjoyed your first LOVEBITES reaction. You will get many recommendations of songs and other Japanese bands. I'm voluntarily 'stuck' since June, on LOVEBITES. Thank you for promoting them. Asami - voice; Midori - guitar left; Miho - bass & leader; Haruna - drums; Miyako - guitar right & piano. They are in their late 20s, Miyako 30. They openly credit and emulate the 80s Metal originators while incorporating Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Dvorak in compositions as well. They have a very diverse catalogue for their relatively short collaboration. There are many songs that cover the more aggressive styles but one that is progressive, beginning mellow and developing to an Anthem is "Edge of the World" and the lyrics, [cc] for subtitles, will make clear LOVEBITES' intent to encourage personal empowerment while acknowledging our failings and challenges: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fK2Cq7t0qdq2dnU.html They have about 40 songs, all excellent, so please continue... subscribed

Good listening! This band reminds us a lot of Iron Maiden, not only Asami has a similarity of Bruce Dickinson, and the bassist is the founder/leader of the band, and the band structure (with two lead guitarists) is similar to Iron Maiden. I am not sure if Asami was even a fan of Iron Maiden because before she joined the band in 2016, she was a singer in R&B/Jazz/opera who never listened to heavy metal music. And look at how good Asami is now!

Yes Asami "she has 100% voice made for metal", Midori and Miyako guitars, Miho bass boss of the band, Haruna stellar drummer. Great reaction.

Lovebites is (mostly) a power metal band but they have influences from Metallica, Iron Maiden, Helloween, Slayer, Dragon Force, Gary Moore, Whitesnake, etc., and they’re developing their own style. I recommend their live performances; they really shine live, especially their latest concert earlier this year “Zepp Divercity, Tokyo 2020”. Other recommended live performances are “Daughters of the dawn”, “Battle in the east”, “Wacken”. Avoid “Bloodstuck” (bad audio). My song suggestions: “When destinies align”, “Hammer of wrath”, “Shadowmaker”, “Break the wall”, “Rising”, “Signs of deliverance”, “Swan song” (with classical piano), “Scream for me”, “Raise some hell”, “Under the red sky”, and a special mention to “Dancing with the devil” (classic rock and bluesy vocals), “Empty daydream” (nice piano and vocals with catchy mid tempo), “Epilogue” (epic power ballad, great vocals, nice piano, scorching old school guitar solos) and “Edge of the world” (epic power ballad, nice vocals, nice guitar solos and song build up)

Great review. I think maybe you were thinking of Lita Ford as the 80's female vocalist. Other people have also thought of Bruce Dickenson from Iron Maiden when talking about Asami's vocals.

Nice reaction to the opening song, after this they ditched the jackets and really started to play!!!! This is a good song but not even in the top 10 for this band!!! Insane talent as they all play different instruments and do power metal, thrash metal, ballads, jazz and classical piano!!!! Anything you pick should be LIVE to truly appreciate the talent. They took Iron Maiden/Judas Priest and mixed in Dragon Force and brought it to a whole new level. Hey this is the best metal band so now try the best Rock band Band Maid (all female with insane talent as well). If you want raw rock and roll try The Warning 3 teen sisters from Mexico who are awesome anything from them LIVE is also crazy good.

Thank you for the reaction of the best of the best, many of course have their favs but for me it’s Lovebites all the way. I already have all of their albums and listen to them every day. This is a band with raw talent and are super amazing, so freaking talented, you won’t be disappointed with this band. I started with baby metal to band maid which I also have, but feel very disappointed with their last album to poppy. Anyway many other rock bands I listen to are Aldious Bridear Mardelas which I also have everything they put out. Yet Lovebites blows the all away. Btw I don’t like anything else like nightwish sabaton or crap like that, there is no one who comes close to Lovebites, Bruce Dickinson many say, omg thank you so much for saying what you are saying about a sweet little fair Asami. Many male reactors just couldn’t handle the fact how awesome she is and were very critical of her. I totally agree she is perfect her vocals are insane and yes they are all very beautiful. Asami vocals, Miho bass (Mona bear creator of band), Haruna drums, Miyako and Midori on guitars
