OMG is thier worst song especially the my is disgusting using mental illness as a prop Ditto in nice but extremely repetitive/doesn’t progress you get the whole song in a minute then it repeats which spoils the song

no way you guys didn't check out omg and ditto, those songs are huge. they are under ADOR btw, not Big Hit. both are sub-labels under HYBE but NewJeans and BTS have different labels.

papi bang pd holding ador marketing and budget and his the founder and the biggest shareholder of hybe where ador label belong so it's the same thing newjeans become big because of bighit where bts is,so stop discredited bighit because bighit is the main pillar of hybe where ador leeching on ..l..

Just some insight, NewJeans’ ‘Get Up’ album, which consists of Super Shy, NewJeans, and Cool With You, was produced in 2020, before Pink Panthress became popular. They were actually inspired by Erika Casier, who actually helped write and compose a few of the songs on the album.

It isn’t just K-pop Justin Bieber started at the same age as Hyein (15) and many other Western celebrities/singers some even younger like Billie Eilish at 14. Also, they are under Ador and not Bighit, the members are fluent in English, Danielle is Korean-Australian and Hanni is Vietnam, Minji is Korean but studies English in Canada, Haerin and Hyein aren’t as fluent as the rest but they are fluent enough and understand English.

About the pinkpantheress thing. The reason its similar is because its the same genre. british garage music. The vocal technique is similar but pinkpantheress uses more experienental vocal effects. So i yea totally agree with yall. I wish more kpop fans acknowledged this but they think new jeans invented this sound 😂

and pink pantheress i would argue is more pop with a maybe some modern interpolation of uk garage aspects... newjeans has an early 2000s classic true uk garage sound

@@clowicous heres some to get you started.....artful dodger 'movin too fast' 'twentyfourseven' 'rewind'. this is the sound newjeans have.. cool with you and newjeans would not sound out of place on an artful dodger album. also... sweet female attitude 'flowers'... not only has pink pantheress sampled it but a lot of people compare it to supershy.

they also now think anything in kpop with a faster synth beat is the same uk garage sound as newjeans.. look at the crazy flurry of people saying illit have the same uk garage sound as newjeans... i've given up arguing the point and just have to realise that none of this generation (apart from maybe us brits) even know what uk garage is :(

Newjeans have music video for all of their songs, i think it would be a better experience if you start with that. But their music is fire too, so it’s still enjoyable!

Fun fact: Both Pinkphanterss and New Jeans have correlations with the kpop group F(x). Pinkphanterss has sampled F(x) before, and new jeans art director is min heejin wich was also F(x) and SM art director.

i know right? pink pantheress doesnt even have the early 2000s uk garage sound newjeans are going for.. newjeans actually sound way more like artful dodger or craig david than they do pink pantheress... and its an early 2000s sound they are incorporating.. not a 2020 one lol

i can definitely get yalls pov. i feel like kpop is best paired with the dance / stage performances. the best groups have insane stage presence so the better the performer, the better the music experience is as a whole (imo, as someone who's more into dance/theatre)

For sure I hit me the most when I see a first time reactions to my fav songs & realize how they are Still good songs just my huge fondness came from the whole experience be it dance that’s emphasizes the sounds or visuals that gave me an image/vibe Then when I listen to the song alone I remember the visuals or the whole level which keeps my excitement

The 'getup' ep genre is 'uk garage' its a whole genre lol... and is actually more pure uk garage than pink pantheress is lol... i would argue pink pantheress is more traditional pop than traditional garage. They are more akin to the likes of artful dodger or shanks and bigfoot or craig david than pink pantheress... i don't know how old you guys are but newjeans has an early 2000s uk mainstream garage sound... it was VERY popular in the uk at the time and newjeans is just like the early 2000s sound... pink pantheress has a distinctly different sound to that .

a group i think would be interesting to react to is stray kids, they have a really different sound, a lot of people describe their music as weird but not in a bad way. id recommend watching their m/v's instead of just listening, they got some of the highest budget, best edited music videos ive ever seen

I get the PinkPantheress thing but we know she didn't create dnb. She did popularize it and made it a trend but the Get Up album was produced by THEE Erika de Casier as early as 2020, before Pink blew up and we don't like to discredit her here.

Kpop has been influenced by hiphop culture since it’s beginning, it is a genre literally built around black culture. there are plenty of documentaries and reliable sources pointing it out.
