Nathan, i'm over the moon you're listening to Pantera, these guys revolutionised metal in the 90's. The song choices are endless, The Sleep, Art of Shredding, Hollow, Regular People, Domination and so many more. Have fun dude, you've just opened the gates. Getcha Pull as Dime would say (Pantera's guitarist sadly killed many years ago now).

Pantera just hit different as a whole band. Phil on vocals, Rex on bass, Vinnie on drums and the legendary Dimebag on guitar. Bands like this don't come around often. I miss Dime and Vinny like crazy.

Saw Pantera live 6 times in the early 90s, seeing you get turned onto this warms my soul. Rock on my brother! And "5 Minutes Alone" by Pantera is a personal favorite.

Yo. I got the chills for you my brotha. I was remembering what it was like for me to experience Pantera for the first time so many years ago, and remembering what it felt like to see them in concert right before they split. So many memories and experiences I've had in my life have revolved around the hard rock/metal community, and it all really leads back to me hearing Pantera for the first time. Yeah, I'd listened to rock before...but that experience is what lead me to pick up a guitar, because I said "I want to learn how to play that." I owe so much to Dime and Vin. R.I.P gentlemen.

Used to go see them play in the late 80's at Joe's Garage in their hometown area, Ft Worth. They really were above the rest in that era, even when they were just getting started you could tell... they were special.
