First Time Listening To Red Velvet - 'Psycho' and 'Monster' MV REACTION
Today we're checking out Red Velvet for the fist time! Two videos in one, 'Psycho' and 'Monster'. I am so ready to see what all the hype is about. Red Velvet (Korean: 레드벨벳) is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by SM Entertainment. They originally debuted on August 1, 2014 with the digital single "Happiness" with the four-member line-up of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy. The fifth member, Yeri, joined the group in March 2015, following their first major release, Ice Cream Cake. Musically, the work of Red Velvet reflects their own group name: their predominantly-pop "red" side experiments occasionally with electronic, funk and hip hop, while their "velvet" side focuses on '90s-influenced R&B with elements of ballad and jazz.

FUN FACT : BLACKPINK and RED VELVET are actual friends and they became close during aiiyl and red flavor era ! They would go eat together at restaurants after music shows ! Joy even said one time they were all laughing and having fun but she and rosé were talking about their moms so they got emotional and cried together ! They also the Queen of vocals, they harmonize really well and Amazed everyone, they are always praised for their vocals because everyone in red Velvet can sing even the rappers! They also crowned as the QUEEN OF SUMMER bcs their summer songs always booming. Even on their very long Hiatus (since December 2019 Until now) they are the MOST STREAMED SM ENTERTAINMENT ARTIST on spotify. The blonde member that blew you away with the vocals is Queen Wendy, Red Velvet’s main vocalist! Makes sense right? LOL! She just had a solo debut along with a mini album in April! She’s one of the best vocalist in 3rd generation..maybe even all of KPOP! She has such a wide range vocal wise and can adapt to different genres even changing her vocal color to fit a song. SHE IS INSANNNEEEE!! The member who you said should be in a movie and you kept saying GORGEOUS in Monster MV is Red Velvet’s all rounder Queen Seulgi. She is the lead vocalist and main dancer, which makes perfect sense that she is constantly in the middle of dance breaks or important parts of choreography. It’s either Seulgi or Irene who are in the center during choreography. However, all members in Red Velvet does get their CENTER time in all songs. Subscribed because I love your energy. The girl you are unconsciously biasing on your reaction is Seulgi. She is the Ace of Kpop. Superb visuals, impressive singing skills, and untouchable dancing skills and stage presence. The Ms. Vocals is Wendy on Psycho, she is the best vocalist on 3rd generation idols, her range is just on another level. Lastly, the other girl in Monster is Irene. The original visual and standard of korean beauty ever since her debut. You need to react to a 2021 guide to get to know them. Joy and Yeri are just as talented as the other members. Joy is a talented actress and Yeri is the savage maknae. Combine them all in a variety show and it will be just pure chaos.

Not surprise because they are from SM, the agency with the best vocalist in this industry. Wendy, the platinum blonde is the BEST female vocalist of this generation. Her range is the widest in Kpop (4 octaves). The fact is that internationally Red Velvet not as popular as 2 other girl groups from BIG3 (Blackpink, Twice, Red Velvet) because their music is sometimes hard to catch up and SM tends to change concepts every comeback. They do a lot of concept like I can't even explain how versatile they are. You might find some of it weird, creepy, aesthetic, girlcrush, cute or whatever it is, they're not afraid of trying something new which sets them apart from other groups. I really like Red Velvet because their concept always changes. There's no time to get bored. Red Velvet is known as the group with the members that have the best vocals and so good in harmonizing. just wanna said that as reveluv, we always feel emotional with this song when we listened to "hey now we'll be okay" part. because reveluv has suffered so much since wendy's accident and irene's controversy.. so red velvet like comforts us everytime they sang this part especially when they performed this on 1st jan of 2021 at smtown beyond live concerts because it's like a new beginning for red velvet and their fans since they've been on hiatus for a long time. we will really appreciated if you guys can support their comeback on august soon

If you want true diversity, its RED VELVET. They never repeat a concept and stuck in a same style. Many grps only have 1 producer and always have repetative style songs due to popularity but not them.

Psycho is everything. Monster is fantastic. I’m a Blink for life, but Red Velvet is amazing. ReVe Festival Is one of my favorite albums. “Bad Boy” and “Peekaboo” are scary good.
