Today's video is on my microdermabrasion experience. I was kindly offered by Australian Skin Clinics on Collins St to try out their new High Performance Microdermabrasion skin treatment. Hi Charmaine, thank you! Unfortunately I was not provided with a discounted code, however, I do recommend looking into their active cleansers. Their product gets deep into the pores which was when I realised my home cleansers were not enough for my skin. Definitely visit your nearest clinic! x

I'm getting the laser hair removal done for facial hair from the highpoint branch.. Love their skin care products especially the enzymatic peel which she was talking about.. I was a bit skeptical about the microdermabrasion due to my skin tone, after watching this video I reckon I'm gonna try this next time.. Thanks for sharing your experiences, I love your videos..

Hi Joanna, Thank you for watching! How have you found their facial laser hair removal? A few of my friends (of similar skin tones) also said they were unsure with the microdermabrasion treatment but I had such a positive experience with Australian Skin Clinics. As you would know, the staff are very informed and will always take the most safe approach. Let me know how it goes! x

Hi Danica I agree with you their technicians are very skilled and that's why I really trust their service. I found a significant reduction of hairs near my jawline, lower lipline and around the temple however I didn't notice a big difference in the upper lip area "which was my major concern". The technician asked me to continue few more sessions since the hair in the upper lip is thicker compared to other facial hair.. I felt quiet convenient to choose more sessions for discounted price..

I know it may be very rare for me to get a response on this post as it’s 4 years old. I have this treatment scheduled in 2 days! Just wondering how effective you found it? How many treatments did you have? And if the results were long lasting as I am reading some articles saying it is a temporary treatment.

I will be getting the same treatment this week but in a different clinic. Did they tell you how many times should you have this treatment to see the optimal result?

I went to the same clinic but in New Zealand, and was told that they usually recommend 3 times of doing this treatment to see optimal results, especially if your acne and scarring are both mild. However, it still depends on your skin at the end of the day and what it wants ^^ Hoped that helps!

Have you ever had chemical peels or microneedling? If so, which treatment out of them all helped with your acne scarring? Ive tried them all and still have scarring so im not sure what to do next.

As a nurse. I screamed inside when she was rinsing her gauze but used the same gloved hands she used in the procedure, to turn the tap off, which she continued to use to ring out the excess water from the gauze, and then continued on with the procedure. Big no no 🤢😷😫

You can have treatments every 2-4 weeks, when the skin turns over. 40 seems excessive.. and appreciate this may be a troll answer (lol). But it would depend on how deep the scarring is. I did a course over 3 months and saw radical changes in my skins health, but I don't have scarring. You'd have to visit a proper clinical to have it assessed for real answers. :)

Does microdermabrasion only help with new acne scarring? Does it make a difference at all on older ones?

beyondallcontrol works on old and new it may take more treatments it all depends on how deep the level of skin your scars are microbrasion takes off a layer each time then encourages your skin to reproduce newer scar free skin under. So with each treatment the older scarred skin gets removed

This video was not done properly. It didn’t show the whole facetreatment, specifically where the main problem was. She didn’t explain what it felt like (pain, burning etc) at the treatment time and afterwards. It was too short and concentrated on wrong things 😬

I've trained in microdermabrasion, and I'm shocked she's done a cleanse with AHAs(glycolic) as it should be avoided before/after getting this treatment done along with peels 🥺
