@@davidhopkins3592 I do have RX580 which is maybe slightly better than gtx1050 and Oculus Quest 2 - it manages to run the game somehow. But in the end I am more happy with 2D and trackIR. (I am new to the game tho). In VR graphics with these type of cards are nothing super and even pixel density on Quest 2 is not quite there yet for spotting thing in far distance :( give it a try tho - that feel of "being there" is surely working with DCS! I would commit a small crime or taxa fraud to be able to play this game in VR :D

if your plane supports data link it is very handy. If not you will have to learn how to use the radar beyond visual range.

you only have 14 days, so I would pick one that you think you want to fly, try it out and see if you like it, once the trial is over you have to buy one to fly it, you will no longer be able to fly all of them for free once the trial is over except you do get the su25t and a mustang trainer for free but they are limited in what they can do.

@@reload54 yeah i'm loving the f-15 and watching a lot of tutorials of it and planning to buy it next after the trail expires i'm planning to pck a full fidality one .. mostly one of these : mig-21 / f-16 or f-18

@@yasinamr5457 f18 can do everything. It's a pretty good pick

left ctrl c is going to toggle between freelook and cockpit curser, i find it useful to have it binded to your mouse or hotas. I know this is a old comment but hopefully it can help someone else new!

yes you need the openBeta, I copied my config file for my buttons and pasted it over into the openbeta and then got rid of the dcs world version as all the good servers use openbeta like growling sidewinder and DCS Dogfighters

@@reload54 okay thanks. I am trying to join servers with the openbeta version tho. My games keeps crashing right after joining without any crash report.

@@milker98 how much pc memory do you have, I upgraded to 32gb some people use even more, the maps can be tough on memory

that's very similar to my specs, I think there is a repair you can run on the game, see if that helps.

And your game never crashes like no matter how long you play? Sometimes mine crashes even 2-3 times within 20mins, I did run the repair didn't help much

I got a f-22 mod, do you think that's why it could be crashing?

After selecting you plane hit briefing and fly, also what server are you playing on? For views, F1 is cockpit view F2 is externals f10 is map

Also..some Servers don't allow External views....for that 'Realism'. So you may have to try a server that has external views set to YES.

I think F1 puts you back in the cockpit
