@@Roeskva_theFox sorry to correct, it's Very Little Nightmares. It does have lore! :D It showed a backstory of how Six's yellow raincoat showed up at Little Nightmares II. Plus there's a theory that someone in that game is being raised to supposedly become the next Lady that was shown in Little Nightmares I. I'm sorry for being vague, I don't know if these things are too much of a spoiler... 😅

You know stories aren't just told through narration, right? It looks like you didn't watch carefully to get what's going on, but E for effort, I guess.

well there is a little nightmares 2 so if there is an ending it would probably be there and also the story doesn't really need a narration to be understood and a lot of people including me really like stories with mysteries and having to figure the story out but I do agree that the story is half finished but that is how it is supposed to be since there is a second game to it

I kinda get what you’re saying, I would’ve liked a deeper look into the lore. Like how’d six get there, who’s the geisha lady, who are the ppl in the dining hall, why are the enemies wearing masks. Why are they on a ship, how and why do they turn kids into gnomes. But I can also appreciate that open endings that leave you questioning and able to theorise are enjoyed by some and Since that’s what they were going for, I think they executed it perfectly. The game is supposed to leave you wondering and provoke thought on wtf is going on. At the end of the day it’s a made up universe so they can do whatever they want and not have to explain the theoretics of it 😂 despite the plot holes, the artistry and ambiance of the game is so eerie and gorgeous. The fact they managed to make such a loveable character without having her speak once shows the creators know what they’re doing. All in all I think they’re great games and I look forward to the 3rd one :3

That’s exactly why these games are so special to me. They didn’t need a single word of dialogue to tell an incredible story. The open ending makes it even more captivating. The questions leave you wanting more, and shows you that not everything in life will be satisfying to you. Think about your personal experiences, things you never got to tell people, the way things tend to end in real life. It’s not always gonna be satisfying, but that doesn’t make it bad. Open your mind a little more, these are my favorite games for a reason :)
