I don't know if someone ever told you this, but League of Legends is making an animated series that were supposed to be released this year, but you know, coronavirus. But it is definitely going out next year. It is called "Arcane" and tells more about the lore of the game, staring Jinx (A league character) and her sister Vi (also a league character) in Piltover and Zaun (districts/cities in the lore of the game). In case you're wondering, the girl and the guy in the colosseum are childhood friends who used to fight together. He became the executioner so criminals get sent to his grounds to fight. The fact that she came in meant she must have fucked up somehow, otherwise she wouldn't be here, but he wanted her to have a fair fight so when you see him throw it, that's actually HER sword and if you look closely, you can see he didn't miss but rather throw the sword and broke her chains. The giant dude is a warlord who refused to die before killing the king. You can see on his jaw that it's actually the king's crown from back then. A few decades later he was revived and turned into undead.

The traps he set is one of his skills in game. He bowed down at the end for his 4th attack/bullet coz it is empowered, also stating that the show is over. Fave number is 4. You can see his mind in the trailer Mind of the Virtuoso. CAMILLE (AoT girl) She is part of the enforcers in Piltover (her country/town) and one of the wealthy families there. Yes, she is like characters in AoT with her rope skills. She is also based from Lyn Beifong from Avatar:Legend of Korra. She got blades for legs. GLADIATOR'S ARENA: DRAVEN ("king") He is not the king but the executioner of Noxus (country). Is a very narcissistic man and cares about gold and fame. His weapons are axes that he can throw. You can see him in A New Dawn cinematic. Btw, it's not Draven. DRAAAAAAVEEEEN... RIVEN (chained gladiator) She was an exile from her country but is a warrior. Draven threw her sword down and cut of the chains (too fast to notice). Her sword is broken, and somehow reflects her. BATTLEFIELD: SION (big dude) He is one of the warriors for Noxus but died during battle a long time ago. He killed the King of the opposing nation on his dying breath. He was revived to fight once more, and the crown of the fallen king became his jaw. That touchdown tackle attack he did is his ultimate skill in game. Others call it Sion Express. IRELIA (blade dancer) She is one of the leader of clans in Ionia (country). She was thought how to dance with harmony and balance when she's a kid, but the dances are actually fighting stances to control the weapons. You can see her in Defiant Blade teaser and Phoenix music video. Also, she's around 14y/o in this video. (yeah) KARMA (green shield lady) She's like the connection to spirits and has reincarnated souls, just like the Avatar series. You can see her as well in Phoenix music video. AKALI (ninja smoke girl) Well, this is her default skin. As you know she is the rapper in K/DA and TRUE DAMAGE. YASUO (tornado dude) He is the DJ from TrueDamage. Lots of cinematics with him on it like Kin of the Stained Blade and Ruined King, etc. KENNEN ('lil lightning rat) He is a Yordle, species of little furry creatures. Though small, his lightning skills are superb. He has a small part in IGNITE music video. You can also see more of these critters in PENTAKILL: MORTAL REMINDER mv.

This video, and the other ones that are for the Worlds championship and the like, are more like Musical Trailers for the game, so what happens in the video (the characters, the items, the actions they do), are usually fairly close to what they can do in the game. (And then you get videos like Pop/Stars and More, and Villain, that are just Music videos using the characters (made to showcase new skins for them that you can get in-game) What legit blows my mind about this one in particular, is the insane amount of detail that they added into it, that only people who play the game/know the lore would pick up on. The biggest example, and the one that blew my mind when I found out: Jhin (the masked dude playing piano at the start). Lore-wise, he's a murdering physcopath who's obsessed with art, which is why everything he does is "pretty" (we see the explosions as smoky fireworks because that's from his point of view). That's also why he bows near the end, with the lady falling towards him. But more than that, in the game, his weapon (the gun he fires in the video) has a 4-shot magazine (shown by the 4 blue lines on the side of it), and the 4th one is empowered. If you pay attention, throughout his entire sequence, he only ever fires 3 shots, and when he bows at the end, you see on his gun the last bullet is still there, glowing red because of the empowered effect.

As for who the characters are. They are champions you play as in the game, and no the game doesn't look like that. Jhin is the masked one at the start, Draven is the one up on the balcony, Irelia is the lady with dark hair and red clothes, Camille is the attack on titan lady, Riven is the white haired chick that gets brought up into the arena, Sion is the huge guy with the oven in his stomach, Karma is the chick that gives Irelia the shield and is standing behind her, Akali is the green ninja chick, Yasuo is the guy with huge hair and tornadoes, and lastly Kennen is the small animal creature. While the graphics are different from in game, they still use some of their abilities and act according to their play styles.

Very summarized. The 1st scene is "Jonia" a peaceful region until "Noxus" decides to conquer them. The 2nd is a Colosseum inside Noxus, and we see Draven, the guy sitting with the bored knife watching the gladiators, craving a worthy opponent for him. Scene 3 is somewhere within "Piltover" and we see Camille, the Attack of the Titans, looking to arrest Jhin, the one with the mask.

I don't like when ppl in reaction think Draven (that guy u callled King) missed. He just unchained Riven (girl with white hair) cuz he was bored with those fights and wanna make it fair and funny, that's why he throw that sword (what is Riven's weapon in game) so he just gave her weapon and unchanged her then jump to fight her. Maybe is small thing but change drastically thoughts about that guy

I believe they don't show the last strike so that we don't know who wins. In the game you can pick from many characters to play against each other so there's no knowing who is stronger. I think it's beautiful like that. You can be on anyone's side and it's allright.
