This was NEX FEST in Japan. A 4 day concert festival with BMTH headlining and hosting. With Babymetal , Yungblud, and YAOSOBI, I Prevail, MTH, and Paledusk. This was the first time it was performed together on stage. It was performed together in Kobe, Nagoya, and twice in Tokyo, during the festival this past Oct 31 - Nov 4. Babymetal had their own solo show, but did this special appearance for this song. This was right before they started the European leg of their world tour.

This performance was off the charts and so was the editing of the video but it matches the energy so well. We had to wait 3 years (the song was released in 2020 btw) for the live collaboration to happen and it was so worth it! Oli said that they should never play this song live again without Babymetal! 🤘🦊🔥

Happy Birthday for yesterday Su-metal.🎂🥳Great reaction. BMTH set up the 4 NEX_FEST events for around the start of November. BABYMETAL had played their own set a little earlier and came back out specially for this song at all 4 events. You can see how much all of them were enjoying the whole thing (although you will want to watch the end again, I suspect you were too busy headbanging to see they were all doing the same together on stage with Oli).🤘 The song was on BMTH's EP in 2020, recorded during lockdown, so BABYMETAL had sent their contributions from Japan. These events were the first time they had the chance to play it live together. Hopes were up that it would happen of course. We've been watching all the fancam videos, we were waiting for something official, like this, to drop.

Thanks for this reaction, we knew you'd like it. A co-producer on that BMTH album was the legendary Mick Gordon, known for example for his work on the Doom soundtrack. Which is in part why it has such amazing electronic elements. You are correct, this does feel like a Babymetal song with Oli & co. It very much makes use of the balancing style between extremes of Babymetal songs. P

Well Olli seid that he knew that He would be able to go all in if he could get Su's voice. And obvipusly Su got all in at the Start of the Pandemic. Now this song is three years old but it is obviously the crowning achievement of one of the Best collabs ever.
