I remember when jimin try to get muscles but he thought thats not what he want. I see jimin just like teenages or baby boy 😁 but with mature thought and angel heart. Hehe sometimes he act childish and cute, but sometimes he act like hyung for tae and jk. Aahhh i love bts and their brothership, thats why i love them more and more😭💜

9:30 Jimin said in an interview from Burn The Stage (I think, could be a different documentary), that he thinks he wanted to appear as a manly man, tough and strong. But then he came to realize that wasn't him, now he is the wonderful man that he is today.

The only time Jimin has been a rapper is for Tony Montana and when vocal line took on Ddaeng at 5th Muster, lol. With training, I think he can come thru, but his vocals are key. Kookie is the only vocal line member who's also a sub-rapper. Gotta see what V comes with in his mix tape, because if ANY vocal line member is dying to rap, that's our boy, TaeTae, lol.

I’m pretty sure that this video was supposed to show off the things that haters were criticizing them for. Like: RM using filters, said Tae should stop wearing a pair of glasses because they didn’t like them on him, that their videos were too colorful. Stuff like that. Love your videos by the way!!

Isn’t Fire, DNA and Dionysius too? Right now only go go is dance along. We are bulletproof part 2 : flying into the air is not an easy skill to acquire

@@missheju169 I think that the dance difficulty increases after each comeback (not included Dynamite & LGO). WABpt2’s hard part is only at the launch into the air, but the rest is relatively easy, especially with the stamina they have now. Dionysus is harder on the timing & coordination rather than the dance itself (excluding the former standing to push up dance).

Jimin said that he is happy that he is behaving as he is, he was trying in the past to be a strong man, but he was not comfortable. now once he had matured, he became knowing himself and acting as he feels. Proud of him🥺💜

One cool thing that the group even commented that they liked was that they wore traditional Korean Hanbok combined with a modern suit. I think they said something about it in the most recent Esquire interview.

and they (JK) were the once to make modern hanbok popular amongst Koreans (and the youth). The video really celebrates the Korean culture and show the world that they're proud of it. So awesome!

This video and the song are so cool in so many levels! 🤩 In the video they use a lot of symbolism, they mock some things that they were told in the past, "RM dont use filters", "V don't look good in glasses" and they use it as a finger since they will do them and whatever they feel comfortable with 💜 also the word love is in the background in Korean and Chinese 💜 the rabbit in the moon is from a Korean folktale... everything on the vid is very well thought 👑

At 7:34, you noticed there was a rabbit in the moon, it is a traditional Korean story. They didn’t make the choreography too complicated, so fans could dance along without too much difficulty. Also throughout the video they did what anti’s would pick on. Such as in the beginning of the video, there were filters (like Snapchat type filters) on RM, bc haters said he didn’t look good with them. So for the whole video they’re embracing who they are and loving themselves. And the jump spin they do in the choreo at 7:58, is actually a traditional Korean dance move.

lmfaooo I will not tolerate this idol choreo disrespect :D Jimin did say that this was their hardest choreo after ON. (Which means it’s harder in comparison to Dionysus, Not Today, Dope, Danger etc.) Armys really don’t appreciate idol and dynamite choreo enough :(( Yes, dynamite may appear simpler, but they execute it so well and that's what makes it hard. Their movement flow is so natural and relaxed but they have so much control over their bodies. And they have so much style and swag. I would say it's just as hard to execute well in comparison to a dance that is sharp and hard-hitting, but in a different way. (Search up _dynamite trainee audition_ and you see how some struggle with details and look spazzy - they're just trainees, so it's completely understandable that they won't be as good as BTS. But they've still had hours of dance training and I'm just saying this to prove the choreo isn't as easy as it seems).

I completely agree that dynamite’s movements seem simple at first, and that is what makes a fantastic dancer! :) being able to make a choreo look easy, when in fact it’s not. That’s the beauty of dancing that BTS have mastered through so much hard work and practice 💜

The Indian dance step you we’re talking about is called ‘Bhangra style’. Quite popular in India and the west too. You were right about the steps looking similar. The set design at the end during the dance break gives major Indian vibes

This song is iconic! RM has the filters on his face at the beginning cuz he was made fun of by antis for always using Instagram filters and there are so many other small parts throughout the music video to poke fun on what others say abt them. Def watch it explained by DKDKTV cuz after I did the MV meant more to me for sure (the parts that don't make sense to us lol). Their lives for this are are EPIC so def check them out too! 💜

Great video guys, this is such an impactful song with the meaning being their whole BTS message. There is an explanation video that gives you the little details they hid and hinted to in the video. RM's filters, V's glasses, Jimin being himself and not being constrained with gender norms, etc. All the drawings, they did themselves and have their own special meanings. They have so many songs that help them and Us Army. But they have been all put down so much it is crazy. The one thing about singing to the “haters” they have many songs like Idol that get the message across and they do it in such an amazing way. The lyrics are perfect. When BTS performs Idol in a stadium 🏟 the entire place rocks so hard that the ground shakes! The day after BTS’ first Rose Bowl stadiums concert (May 4, 2019) I heard on the local news that the concert actually registered on the Richter Scale in the Pasadena area! I was there & the place freakin VIBRATES so hard when they do IDOL it’s an out of body experience! The Oh oh uh woahs go on for about FIVE MINUTES!! 🔥☄️💥🔥⚡️☄️💥💫💥🔥

The amazing thing about the song idol is the journey that the members of BTS went on to find that confidence. They always set out with an intention to encourage the use of Korea to find their own dream and resist the pressures of Korean society. But when you go back and listen especially to RM and his solo songs whether on his mixtape or in BTS discography you hear how much pressure they put on themselves to be perfect. They struggle to accept their own imperfections and quirks they struggle to love themselves. So they decided that they needed to go on a journey and they invited their fans to go on the journey with them to reject the mask that they were wearing to find acceptance from themselves and society and those they loved and instead learned to love themselves and be themselves. The song idol came out after the album Love yourself: tear. Fake Love another tracks on that album confessed and revealed that tendency to try to hide your faults and live up to others expectations and quiet your own voice. In it they reveal the mask take it down. Idol is them embracing who they are, it's a celebration of self-love.

It may appear there is no rhyme or reason to the imagery but it actually is well referenced. I recommend the explanation video if you want clarity or you can simply enjoy it as a audacious jumble of images and colors and still have fun.

This song live is amazing. Legit feels like the earth trembles as they stomp with their dancers. There's a clip of other KPop Idols reacting to BTS during an award show. When they're dancing, you can see the Idols in the stands holding onto their seats because the room shook.

I believe it’s MAMA, not MMA. Not to correct you. Just wanted to clarify in case Ron and Brandon look for it. I just checked. They did 2018 MAMA and 2019 MMA. Both are great. I prefer 2018 MAMA. But the entire 2019 MMA is amazing.

This song is AMAZING in concert! Jin has said that he loves performing IDOL because he sees ARMY dancing and having a great time (or something along those lines).

I was able to go to their concert in Amsterdam two years ago. They started with this song and seeing them perform it live was so incredibly good! It was next level and the whole concert was incredible and amazing. Now everytime I hear Idol or So What I think back to that night. It was the most amazing concert I've ever been to.

at 10:40 a fun fact about that move is, that the actual choreographed move is different than the move in the MV. You should react to more dance practice videos like GOGO and 21st Century Girl. Love you guys and good vibes 💜💜

I love the hanboks that the boys wear in idol. It’s a nod to their own history and culture, but a modern version of it, almost as if saying we can change and still have respect for their history. My favourite live performance of idol was on Graham Norton. I know you may not be able to react to it because of copyright, but definitely worth a watch because two members were injured at the time and the way they adapt is pretty brilliant.

You want to watch Idol performance live right!!?? Watch Idol performance from MMA 2018 !!! IT IS ONE OF THE BEST, HYPED UP PERFORMANCE EVER!!! During their Speak Yourself Tour in 2019, they also performed Idol but once the song “ended”, BAM THEY PERFORMED A REMIX VERSION OF IDOL. IT WAS EPIC. I sat 8 rows away from the stage and omg the energy you feel, Armys cheering, the members hyping up the song, the special effects and lighting just got you so EXCITED. Then, when the beat dropped, it was just a magical moment. It was an entire festival. I will never forgot that moment in my life. I’m so glad I recorded the entire performance!

OKAY but IDOL in concert is TOP TEIR!!!! They have a different version that they use during concerts AND ITS HYPE AF! ARMY & BTS jumping around singing, it’s like we are having our own party! 💜
