Laughing, "he's a joy" laughing throughout, looking at the camera, shaking her head, back to the screen. An age old folksong, long stitched into the fabric of Russian, Kazakhstan life jazzed up.

THE INSTRUMENT, the 2 strings made of horsehair and gut, the dombra, played by the indigenous nomads of the Kazakhstan steppe for centuries, a different people than Kazakhstanies, the Kazakhs, Dimash a direct descendant. His grandfather a Master Player, honored by his government, called a "national treasure" he taught him to play the dombra and chess as a little boy, they played both together all his life, his Grandfather recently deceased. I am not a big fan of Jazz but it's Dimash. It is growing on me. I love the addition of the 3 staccato notes at the end of that long variable note. Most of all the story makes me laugh. As Maria is a typical shy Russian gal, she is telling "the curly one" to get his butt over to her village and start paying court so she does not get stuck marrying one of the shallow few. So very cute.😏 👍❤️👍 🥰🥰Hugs from Canada🇨🇦
