Honestly, I like this live version better than the studio purely because Kyo's vocals are THIS clean live here, and he does more vocal creative gymnastics than the studio version. It's newer, and he always likes to 'update' older music with their newest skillet. I can't even enjoy the studio version as much now because I've listened to this live so much lol. Also, y'all should turn on the subtitles...just saying. They should be RIGHT THERE.

You guys were so wholesome haha. It was nice seeing a reaction from someone who both is already familiar with the song, and someone who wasn’t. Dude on the left (sorry didn’t catch the name) was vibing with his whole body to the singing. Cause that’s me when I listen at home to the song haha. It’s always a joy to hear people’s first reactions to the song/this particular live and I didn’t expect dude on the right to mention Kyo sounding “angelic”. Also a good point that their cinematography for their lives has a lot of effort put into them compared to other bands, and especially to western rock bands. And yeah I can see why dude on the left prefers their cleaner studio sounds. For me personally I like I’m able to feel the raw emotions and energy that I think DIR is able to exude at lives. Some songs I didn’t care for, until I saw those songs live, and felt the emotion. Thanks for listening to the suggestions and reacting to this performance!

Kyo can do WHISTLE SCREAM WITH VIBRATO check their song Different sense you'll hear it.

@@rfvision8392 lord I didn't think it was possible to put vibrato on a whistle scream before Kyo. I think he does it in a couple live versions of Decayed Crow, too, but the best known live version you also see him almost completely blow out his voice. Brilliant performance, almost physically painful to watch him power through the song - if you find yourself thinking "that doesn't sound healthy" it's proooobably not.
