Sumner and the Stamps Quartet who were backup singers for Elvis. J.D. Sumner is listed in the GUINESS WORLD BOOK OF RECORDS as the LOWEST BASS IN THE WORLD with the song 'BLESSED ASSURANCE"! I didn't need confirmation that you were raised in the faith it shows in how you present yourself to the world ...your right when you say that the basis for most religions is being humble kind and honest .....as far as having to enter a building to worship ...if you have that option then great but my grandfather taught us that we could worship God anywhere and anytime we wanted just as he did during WW2...and God brought him home to us....this song is great and there's always that little something extra when it comes from the heart.....Karl from eastern Canada🙏🙏🙏

God has granted each of us a light. Sometimes what casts a shadow over it is blind ambitions and self worship. If one cast their light upon themselves it means it doesn't radiate to those around. If you be the light and allow it to shine on others then you become a beacon of hope. One of God's greatest gifts and Brit you are a beacon to all.

Knowing that you are definitely a Christian and very proud of it, I am extremely proud of you for proclaiming so loudly on such a huge platform. Thank you, thank you, thank you. With all that being said. I really think you would enjoy the song "Cross In The Middle" by Martha Borg. I feel this song down in my soul and it speaks to me like no other gospel song has before. I recommend listening to his version of “Silent Night” and he has an old version of “The First Noel” that I recommend over his newer version.

There is no other way to eternal life with God than though Jesus Christ! Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father except by me." Other religions are cults and will not lead to salvation because they do not have Christ. We are all born sinners who can do nothing to save ourselves other than to repent and put every aspect of our lives in Christ. Being 'good' will get no one into heaven. Salvation is about God's Grace alone and no work of man. Life is about God, not man. Our purpose for life is to glorify God. Study the scriptures for yourself rather than relying solely on sermons to understand God.
