hey man avid quadeca fan, havent finished the vid so maybe this has alr been cleared up but 1. thank u for listening, been lots of rap and glad ur branching out l 2. this is not an album, it was supposed to be 5 eps with 2-3 songs every 2-3 weeks, some are old songs that were ment to be on his previous album, and some are new but dont really fit into the context of an album so decided to put them in this. he made up to 3 of these but then decided to ig iust push out 4 and 5 into this mixtape along w the other ones. 3. quadeca produces, writes, mixes and DOES like all his music solo, its not so much rap or lyrics to enjoy but the genius is in the production that he does thats really fucking beautiful gonna finish the reaction now peace and love

yoo bless u for being openminded enough to try out stuff like this 8god!!! here's the quadeca breakdown nobody asked for: -quad blew up on youtube early, doing fifa videos and making more "youtube rapper" style stuff that would gets lots of views (you may have heard his KSI disstrack "Insecure which came out in 2018 i think) -over time he slowly started taking music even more seriously; in 2019 he dropped an album called Voice Memos that was still mostly rap but almost entirely self-produced and mixed -by 2020, he had retreated a bit from youtube to focus on his next album, From Me To You, which dropped in 2021 and had a way more experimental musical approach with a lot more intentional worldbuilding and really diverse genres and sounds he was pulling from to flex his evolved production and mixing style -in 2022 he dropped his most acclaimed album yet, I Didn't Mean To Haunt You, which was a concept album from the perspective of a ghost after taking his own life. really the culmination of all the worldbuilding work and songcrafting ability he had been developing up until then -scrapyard isn't an album but instead a mixtape of loosies from around the IDMTHY era, some of which are more recent including Texas Blue (Kevin Abstract was the leader of BROCKHAMPTON in case you weren't already aware) your boy Arber/Arbour (idk sorry) was spitting when it comes to interpretation of this project. i'm glad it resonated with him and even if you don't plan on coming back to it, you should def check out IDMTHY (it has an album movie which should make reacting even more engaging, plus Quad is indie and doesn't copyright strike reactions :) Didn't ask,,,, bros yapping,,, yadda yadda ik. i feel like listening to this before listening to haunt you was a bad decision. idmthy cements who quadeca is and his style and this album isnt really an album, it's a mixtape where he expands on ideas he had and was initially going to scrap (hence the name), that's why it can feel a bit disjointed at times and it can be very overwhelming for a new listener to jump into this album first

back again, u tried being human is def a suicidal or upbringingg song in a way (u missed the greatest ending to that song btw), theres def a story with his old album I didnt mean to haunt you, where it takes perspective of a ghost, and trying to figure out how people grieve abt him, where he is and it gets crazy, it also has danny brown which may not sound nice w quad but is done really well, will explain the story if u ever react to that, but just keep in mind theres a beauty to quads production (also theres an album movie to that)
