Sabaton is a Swedish band that specializes in telling the stories of events in history, mainly war related. Their lead singer, Joakim, has a voice that is IMO, well suited to this task. I would suggest that, for your next reaction, you take a look at the Official Music Video cover of 1916, originally performed by Motorhead.. 1916 isn't a live performance and will give you another, different, view of what this group does. Sabaton has another channel "Sabaton History" where they talk in depth about the events that they are singing about.

Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band that sings exclusively of war history. All their songs tell about real people, units and events. This one tells about a German armored division that moved so fast when conquering foreign land they got a nickname Ghost Division. Often even German high command was not up to date about what they were doing and where they were. What's considerable that even while German invasion and occupation was brutal for Poland, the Polish crowd is still 100% with the band and the story here. It's because Sabaton does not take sides, they tell stories from all parties and they also have several songs telling about Polish heroism that would otherwise not have reached younger generations at all.

Excellent reaction. This was from the 2012 Polish Woodstock festival, 550,000+ fans. Sabaton was formed in 1999, underwent a major lineup change in 2012 and a two minor lineup changes since then. Their first two albums (one was actually released as their third album due to issues with the record label) which were more standard heavy metal. One interesting song from that period is "Metal Machine" which uses song titles from other metal bands music as the lyrics. Primo Victoria was the first album to use the themes of sacrifice, honor, courage, and humanity produced by the cauldron of war. Sabaton does not glorify war or take sides, they just document the human struggle that arises from it.

Great job with your reaction to The live performance of Ghost Division from Sabaton from Woodstock. This is a song about a real Army division who served in Poland during WW2 . Sidenote the drummer is married to Floor Jansen from NightWish. Another great song from this same show would be 40 to1 .

Sabaton is considered power metal from Sweden their lirics its about mostly war history overall joakim's vocal style is called baritone same as till Lindemann from Rammstein they formed in the late 90's early 2000's but the first album "oficial" came out in 2005 that was titled primo Victoria

I would recommend en livstid i krig (a lifetime of war) live Scandinavium Gothenburg 2020 if you want another awesome live song with them. I was at that show and all I can say is that you will not regret it The album that they released during that time, Carolus Rex is about a part of Swedish history called the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish) from a time when Sweden was one of the ruling power and more of a powerful nation. It was released with both a Swedish and English version, the difference being that the Swedish one tells the story from our/a Swedish soldier's view while the English is more from an outsider's view. It is the Swedish version they played that night so be sure that the subtitles are on.

Im sorry i dont speek Spanish or Portugeeeeez, This show is a festival in Poland and if u listen closely some parts the singer is shouting to the people but not in english, its polish so the responce is crazy. The song is about a German Tank devision when the germans invaded France, they were moving so fast so both germans and french military lost track of them, hence the term Ghost devision. Very nice reaction though i had to look at the translation to know what u said, not sure it was correcto though but u were nice and interesting to watch.

Si te ha gustado Nigthwish, The warning y Sabaton, mis TRES BANDAS que le sugeriría reaccionar, sin ninguna duda serían: - LOVEBITES. banda japonesa de power metal, formada solo por mujeres. Con una pareja de guitarristas entre LOS mejores del mundo. Acaban de publicar una canción de su ultimo concierto donde volvían tras un paron de año y medio (En ese tiempo se han casado, tenido hijos y cambiado a la bajista). En el clip, aparece la nueva bajista por primera vez en directo. Es también la primera canción del concierto y empiezan al grito de "WE ARE BACK! " NOTA: Con ellas pasa como con Nightwish. Una reacción y serás invadida por sus fans (entre los que me incluyo). Tienen más de 50 canciones.. y aun no he encontrado una sola que sea simplemente "buena". Todas son notables o excelentes.
