Yeah, there's a bunch of symbolism in this 15th anniversary video, including shadows under the members that correspond to the design of their 2018 album, "The Story of Light," which was their first release after their fifth member, Jonghyun, passed away in late 2017. The line of "where you stand is in the Right" refers to that too, because the English words "right" and "light" are written/pronounced the same in Korean; the group name "SHINee" means "one who receives the light." There's also depictions of things being in sets of five; the group has said that they'll forever be five members, and Jonghyun's implied to be the light shining down on the music player at the end of the video. It's a song very much meant as a gift for the fans. :) So glad you enjoyed it! Taemin’s voice is not only beautiful, but also very versatile & I surely agree that in SHINee he often shows different colors of his tone than in his solo discography (where a huge part of it is sensual, breathy vocals). The other voice that you liked belongs to Onew (SHINee’s leader) and the other members also have distinct, unique vocal tones, which makes listening to SHINee a very enjoyable experience. The song is purely for SHINee World (the fandom) to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the group, hence there’s something nostalgic about it and it definitely wasn’t supposed to be a smashing hit. The proper title track (which I got the feeling is gonna sound amazing) is coming! Their new album drops on 26th and I have no doubt it’s gonna be absolutely great!

Funny how you mention about how hard to focus on him when he's in SHINee. Taemin himself has an enormous amount of stage presence, but together with his fellow members who also has the same amount if not more stage presence with him, he seems overshadowed. This was not their official comeback -- that will happen on 6/26. This MV/song was a gift from SHINee to SHAWOLs in celebration of their 15th anniversary. It's a song promising to return to the SHINee feeling of the past and embracing the future together. We are to let go of the "trash" (sad/negative feelings) of the past and turn it in to something beautiful. This is illustrated by the colorless bags in the beginning gradually changing colors from pastel to vibrant when the bag bursts. You must remember that the name SHINee in Korean means "receiving light". When clear plastic/glass is hit by sunlight it can create a "Prism" (one of SHAWOLs favorite SHINee title track songs) making an explosion of vibrant colors. Lastly, if you look at that map that is always expanding (hint, hint) the place names are SHINee album/song names including their deubt solo album set of "Ace" (Taemin); "Base" (Jonghyun); "Face" (Key); "Voice" (Onew); and "Chase" (Minho). BTW: you asked who a specific singer was....that's our illustrious leader with the legendary voice - Onew (pronounced "On-you"). He and Jonghyun have probably the best, most powerful vocals in Kpop (not just our opinion, but within the Kpop industry as well). The brothers also make it clear that Jonghyun is still with them in spirit, and we don't need to fear talking about him, but should do so with joy. You can see this by their constant gazes up to the sky, how they run together at the 4:40 mark leaving a space for him as they often do in their choreos (like in Atlantis during Minho's rap section), and the ever-present music recording device used by Onew (who would often work on their music with him). All the references in "The Feeling" MV have to do with SHINee's history over the past 15 years and what they have accomplished as a group and as solo artists, etc. For example, if you take the time to study the map that Minho has, you will see that it's a map of SHINee's history up until now, including all their solo debuts. And the shot of the 5 apples falling on the No. 5 represents how they will always be a 5 member group. I also interpret the "and..." at the beginning as their way of including Jonghyun (SHINee's main vocalist who passed away in 2017) and their fans in on their journey, saying SHINee wouldn't be SHINee without either of them. But if you need some detailed song recommendations, here's some advice : ~ MVs ~ - Replay (2008) It's a must since it's their debut song (2008). A really cute song in which Taemin (the youngest) was 14 and Onew (the eldest) was 18. I recommend the "Shinee world IV" performance - it was a few years later but really shows their evolution and it gets you emotional. - Ring Ding Dong (2009) An iconic song which is basically kpop's rickroll (got banned during exam period because of how addictive it is). They used a lot of autotune which makes it even funnier but you can also find live performances with their raw, awesome vocals. - Juliette (2010?) First shinee song to be written by Jonghyun. - Lucifer (2012 I think) It took me time to enjoy it but it also gets stuck in your head.
