They’ve been trying to push for overseas audience since they signed with Fueled by Ramen as their international label. The singer, Taka, lives in LA and friends with Ed Sheeran, Benny Blanco, Mike Shinoda (to name a few). In the US, they’ve done warped tour, openers for some bands (Muse being one of them), and their own album tours. So happy that you found One OK Rock because they are a phenomenal band! There is a live performance of this song which is great because Taka really connects with the audience. They have toured the US many times and they actually tour Europe, Asia, and South America. Taka's English is very good but he was born in Japan. Taka does have incredible range and has done covers of Adele's Hello and Easy on Me. He sings in the original key and hits those high notes beautifully. He sings with a lot of emotion and his ballads like Your Tears Are Mine tug at your heart. Their live performances are the best because they do like 22 songs in a Japanese concert and don't let up the energy at all. Hope you will react to more of their music.
