Pentatonix is truly genre-less which may be why they don’t get airplay. They aren’t a pop group because they won a Grammy for arranging a medley of Daft Punk EDM songs. They aren’t an EDM group because their second Grammy was from arranging Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy a classical tune from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky. They aren’t a classical group because they won their third Grammy with country icon Dolly Parton singing a remake of Jolene a country song. They are a jack of all genres (trades) but they are truly Masters of all of it.

Happy Now is another original that is fun and with good lyrics - a break up / recovery song. Still one of my fave videos to get exposed to several of their originals is the 20min long Popspring concert - professionally filmed live performance, 3 originals + the evolution of Michael Jackson. It's fantastic and Kirstie performs the lead on a song she wrote, Water. Another I'd love to see you react to is Wizard of Ahhhs w/ Toderick Hall - it's a mini Wizard of Oz movie complete with costumes and Kirstie makes a fantastic Dorothy. I highly recommend you watch Popspring Live 2016. It’s 3 originals and the Michael Jackson Medley. Kirsten takes the lead on one of my fav songs they do called Water. It’s seriously a GREAT mini concert and a fantastic example of what they do live. DOOO IIIT!!!

Bet you’d love Kirstie’s lead on Rather Be. It’s a great video also..they made it while in Japan on a concert tour. It’s very upbeat. Plus she plays the sane one while the guys are doing silly, touristy stuff.

This is from what I call their "let's put on a show" era, when pretty much anything goes. A great one from that era is their original Sing. Great for chair dancing.

Green Bay girl here. The Packer game was amazing! All the naysayers were proven wrong. The only thing better would have been if it would’ve been a home game. I do feel kind of bad for Mike McCarthy, because I really liked him as the Packers head coach, but not bad enough to let him win 😉 This is one of my favorite Mitch- led songs. I’m not typically much of an EDM fan, but loved this one. Let’s be honest, PTX could sing the phone book and I would love it, but there really is not one genre that they haven’t excelled at when they’ve tried it. Thanks for the reaction.😊

Kirstie wasn't engaged when this came out, though she was engaged a couple of years later for about a year and a half. She's not married yet. Sometime this year apparently.

I think Kirstie must have decided she looked good in colored contacts from Daft Punk (this was their follow-up to that video), and she really looks good with the green contacts!

I love their original music. They have pretty amazing range. Some of my favorites dont get reacted to very much mostly because they don't have a full video. But Never Gonna Cry Again and Side from the Lucky Ones album are both great songs musically and lyrically. Other great originals are Standing By, Water and Misbehavin'.

I was rooting for the Lions and they pulled it off! Their recent past leaves a lot to be desired! Great original, great reaction! They did this live for an interview and Kevin & Mitch amazed us, as usual! It only sucked that Avi wasn't mic'd like Kevin because it was a bit hard to hear his lower notes as well. Still was amazing! I think you could play this at a club and people vibe out just as hard! Thanks for this one!
