First Time Reaction to BTS (방탄소년단) 'MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)
I'm fascinated by this group. How could I not have known a bad that is so big in the world? Anyway, as asked, Im checking out more of their work.
Check out my kid's channel if you're looking for kids' education and entertainment ‪@CoolEnglishKids‬

One of my most significant sources of satisfaction in life is being a content producer, and it's a tremendous honor to share that satisfaction with all of you as we develop as a community. In my 12 years as a professional musician, I've played thousands of performances in more than 20 countries, and I'd want to tell you about my experiences as I develop this channel.

It’s not the music and performances we as ARMY hang on to. It’s their messages. You definitely need the subtitles. They saved me. They changed me. They have taught me. And I’m 56 years old. They are not just a group, they are a movement.

I am 49 years old ARMY from Bulgaria. BTS's influence goes beyond music. Their messages, their good personalities, the way they care for each other...it all seems to resonate in our hearts and souls. Their story of how they started from the bottom, their love for music, how they climbed to the top - they are true living legends.

Hi! Thanks for the reaction! 💜 For me views are not too important…because what make the difference is the music and the meaning behind it. BTS are known for their lyricisms and their love for ARMYs (fan’s name). And for the fact that you never listen or see them…don’t worry because there is always time to discover how amazing they are! In the fandom there is a saying: “You don’t find BTS, BTS find you when you need the most”. And it’s true for a lot of Armys…so I think maybe it’s destiny for you to know them. Welcome on the rabbit hole…you won’t be disappointed. Have a nice day, and greetings from Italy! Borahae!!!💜

Us being fooled at the end of the song is a mic drop in its own 😂 Now I'm as surprised as you are that you haven't heard OF them. Especially if you're on KZfaq a lot or just spending some time on the internet... That's a mystery ! That being said, thanks for reacting to BTS ! I think they will surprise you on many, MANY levels ! They have, no lie, the widest range of music any artist have and hundreds of songs. That means, no matter what your genre is, you'll find songs you like and some you'll enjoy less. Anyways, as much as medias like to put groups in a box, BTS is no typical "boyband" and even in the Kpop industry, they're totally different. They're pioneers in some way and to these days, I haven't seen any artist that big being so normal out of stage. But most of all, they've been working very hard for a decade, literally starting from scratch in a company that was on the verge on bankruptcy only to have made this company one of the biggest economic sources in South Korea nowadays. There are 3 rappers and 4 singers. And on top of being amazing rappers, singers and dancers ; BTS members write, produce, take part in the artistic concepts, music videos, dance choreographies, ideas... Everything basically, in collaboration with their company staff and artists. They're really on a line of their own and I think you'll see that for yourself when you react to more. That being said, you're really perceptive on many levels, can't wait to see more of your reactions 😊 Also, I think you should definitely react to the different fan-made guides about BTS. They'll put you on many informations about the group, the members, how they work and everything basically. Because above learning about their group history, these guides make you understand their music a lot more in some way. That was my case when I first became a fan (and I'm sure I'm not the only one). I guess learning about the background of each member, their background as a group and the way they work for their craft, makes you understand the music (and the artistry) in a much more complete way. The most complete (and amazingly made) guide is : "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7" (by Taylor Mari). Hope you'll react to it ! In any case, enjoy the journey !!

There's another K-pop group, the only other group from the same company as bts, they're called TXT (Tomorrow x Together) and they're making really great music too! If you want to check them out, they even have one or other song that has kinda of a punk rock/pop rock vibe: I recommend reacting to "Loser = Lover" MV and "OX1 Lovesong" MV :) They've a really great friendship with bts as bts is their seniors and bts treats them like little brothers, both groups are so crazy talented and such humble and kind artists

As you probably know, I'm a huge fan of BTS, and I feel like I need to clear up a misconception that some people have about them. While it's true that BTS is an incredibly talented group of musicians, singers, and dancers, they are so much more than that. They are artists in every sense of the word. Their music speaks to people all over the world, and their message of love, self-acceptance, and social awareness is more important now than ever before. BTS is a group that has worked hard to break down barriers and stereotypes, and they have done so with incredible grace and humility. They are not just entertainers, they are activists, advocates, and role models for millions of people. So, the next time someone tells you that BTS is just a group of guys who can sing and dance, I hope you'll remember that they are so much more than that. They are a force for good in the world, and their impact is truly immeasurable. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you'll continue to support BTS in all that they do.💜

Where to even begin with explaining BTS... I genuinely do think you would ADORE this group. BTS have definitely carved out a part of the world for themselves, they are all genuinely so talented its mind blowing. Also, when ARMY says RM is the leader they literally mean he leads the group, and acts as the middleman between the company and the group. It doesn't necessarily mean he's the frontman, or the one who stands out the most, or anything like that. In all honesty there is no sole member that stands out over the others, they're all actually very evenly split. They're all multitalented, and have solo ventures while still being part of BTS. Like all the rappers have their own mixtapes/albums they've released, the vocalists have all had solo singles/albums that have been part of BTS' album or just dropped on their own. They all have their own expertise within performance and songwriting that kinda allows for them to excel in the way they have. They've been together for over 10 years and prioritize their teamwork and group mentality so much that they've created nothing short of a masterpiece when it comes to both brotherhood and work ethic. 🤌🏼 The NPR Tiny Desk is a good video just to see their vocals and the group dynamic (they have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists), or their 2021 live room Festa, which was kind of a medley of their songs from their first album to their latest. Just snippets but it was cool 👀💜

Oh wonderful that you are a teacher! A very noble profession. BTS in their debut song No More Dreams and in succeeding songs / albums like N.O. , have given voice to SK young people's feelings regarding the seemingly inflexible and at times very stressful (extremely long hours of study) education system in SK. Unfortunately, this system has had dire consequences where the youth in SK experience high rates of depression and other mental health issues. Very courageous of Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) to sing / rap about these issues when they themselves back in 2013 were still in their teens and early 20s. Insightful young men.

Their whole catalog is over 300 songs, and right now it is like new songs are coming every other day.. They have been active over 10 years that is a lot of songs with the Asian industry's speed of 2-3 albums out a year (plus solo mixtapes/soloalbums and free gift songs that are over in the Soundcloud.) Some 5 different versions of Mic Drop alone.. Then there is the fan-documentaries you need to watch to learn their personalities and their back story and another to know the fandom, BTS's struggles, how they have changed music history, and of course the Whole Long Story of their career, so on and so on. AND then you have to se their Own documentaries and their longer tv series versions (3+3 with 8, 6 and 7 eps), vacation weeks (Bon Voyage 4 seasons, 8 eps each & In The Soop 2 seasons, 8 and 4 eps), and you cannot know them without watching their variety show Run BTS ! (2015-present), some seasons packages, some legendary birthday concerts and other birthday week (called FESTA) shenanigans, And then of course all of the crazy funny fan content to really understand who we are, and how we see them. Like three of the rapline are Our Golden Leader - who is also known as God Of Destruction (breaks everything) and who is Banned from kitchen everywhere, And cutest Most Savage Genius Kitty you can ever imagine, who sometimes hiss and spit like a swearing dragon. And The Sunshine who is the loveliest nicest person, until he needs to strictly whip the other members into shape in his role as a dance captain.. :D (And we have hundreds if not thousands of compilation videos to proof all of this!) and then there is the not very serious videos to know each 7 guys or how we love their friendships among the group - like the SOPE - the comedic singer duo of two last rappers I listed earlier.. Or just half an hour of their laugh compilation.

Thank you for your honest reaction! You probably haven't heard of them because Billboard and Spotify almost work against them and favor other artists. I'm not quite certain how KZfaq works in that area yet. Because they rose to fame through back-channels rather than established institutions, even now, a lot of official channels work against them. I won't be specific now though. BTS doesn't owe anyone anything except for the fans. And we owe them everything for what they share with us. They are artists that make us proud. They are humble (despite Mic Drop's theme) and kind, respectful and funny, and their connection to each other is something that cannot be found anywhere else. Truly, the 7 of them are closer than friends, closer than family. If you like acoustic, Blue and Gray is a good one. And they do have acoustic live versions of their songs that are SO GOOD. Their 2020 Tiny Desk Home Concert is a good start and you can see a bit of their personalities at the same time. BTS has lots of different kinds of songs, I'm sure you'll find one you love. The B-sides are also quite diverse and very good and go more into detail about certain topics than just the title songs. Think of the title songs as the overall message of their albums and the rest of the album tells the story.

Anyway, for newbie this song might be rubbed in the wrong way that they are boasting their trophies. Without context it may appear that way, but damn they deserved everything. Their past struggles were one of the hardest... The world was literally against them from the start... But they still persevered, it took them a decade of hardship to get where they are now. That's why their fans are looting for them, they worked hard and had experienced a lot that why their fans is called the army cuz they would literally do everything to protect them.

Another song with rock vibes... it's BTS "Dionysus."

As you said, you didn't see it on your KZfaq and you probably haven't heard them on the radio or in the media, and it's because BTS doesn't have the support or space that the greats in the industry can give them. His growth was organic and strengthened by his fans (A.R.M.Y.). The greats of their country and the world have boycotted every step of the group and only their talent, supported and strengthened by their fans, have allowed them to be where they are. Framing them only as a music group is a common mistake for those who are unaware of their trajectory, not only musical but also human. Luckily there are thousands of videos not only of their music but of their story told in the first person by each member of BTS where the greatness of their humanity is shown and everything they have achieved and fought for with a philosophy that is completely distant from what only a group would be of music. / Del (53 years)

I love their Fake Love (Rockin Vibe Mix). Since you’re a rock fan as well, this might be the one to get you started. Also check out j-hope’s MORE MV. J-Hope is one of the members of BTS and last year he released a solo album (they all do solo work in parallel) called Jack In The Box which has a LOT of rock influences.

It's very hard to judge or figure out BTS from just two songs. I myself took three tries to get into them hahaha. It's because they have hundreds of songs and there's so much variety in sounds hahahaha.

Their discography is huge and varied, they also have individual projects, now each one is releasing a solo album because they have to do their mandatory military service and they won't be together until 2025. If you are interested in learning from them, I assure you that you will find music that you will listen to in everywhere, they are excellent artists.

So happy to see you are reacting to another song....maybe a bit early but.... welcome to the fandom!!!!!💜 I have never been a fan of rap or hip-hop but I have learned to love the rap line as much as the vocal line and I credit BTS for expanding my musical world to include some rap and hip-hop. I, too, have pretty eclectic tastes in music and thought myself pretty well-rounded musically. But discovering BTS showed me I didn't know jacks**t about what existed in the music world. It's crazy just how much we exist within our own little worlds and know nothing about anything beyond the small little piece of earth we call home. Anyway, thanks again for giving BTS a chance and I look forward to seeing more of your journey in discovering BTS. They have a pretty large discography, so I'm sure you will have something that will "speak" to you. Until next time.....bye!!!😊

Please react to Fake Love, it’s so tough to pick a fav out of all their songs since they span over so many genres but I can never get bored of Fake Love and the music video is just stunning. The extended version is the rock live band if that’s your preference over studio production.

Aside from being in BTS all the members do their own solo work and have a LOT of creative freedom but if you like rock type of music a lot of their early songs were a rock hip pop inspired mix so maybe check out the songs ‘boy in luv’ ‘danger’ and ‘Hip-pop phile/lover’ V/taehyung has a solo song called singularity which has more rnb influences or bts intro persona which gives me old school rap and bts suga as under his solo name Agust D new song Haegeum or the 2016 self titled track by him is definitely a favorite

You may have discovered BTS at the end of their run. Its time for them to enlist in the Korean military now and the individuals have been dropping singles and collabs on a regular basis. If you want a very different original sound look up the recent 'Smoke Sprite' by So-yoon featuring RM of BTS.

Lol, I love how anyone who discovers BTS proclaims they will go through their whole catalog of music... little do they realise that's 10 years worth of music and around 250 songs (including solos and collabs) 😏if you do though Ido recommend it. My playlist is at 235 no-skip songs, they are impressive.

Welcome to BTS Land! I think you will find something to love about BTS and their music - maybe lots of things! Some BTS song suggestions are: Fake Love, Danger, Dynamite, Fire, Butter, Blood Sweat & Tears, Permission to Dance, DNA, Bapesae (Silver Spoon) dance practice, Boy with Luv (ft. Halsey), and Black Swan. There are a lot more to choose from... And each official video usually has a dance practice video to go along with it. The dance practice video for Mic Drop is just amazing. And just this past October they released a dance practice for a song called Run BTS - this dance practice video is EPIC!!! It's over the top good, and that is saying something for these guys who practice endlessly to get the choreo perfect. Hope you enjoy!

Thank you for your reaction 💜️ I highly recommend you to react BTS vocal lin's "Thruth untold live performance", "house of cards live live performance" . If you are a rap fan plz react to rap line's "outra:tear live performance"(this is 🔥🔥), "ddang". These songs are not the "most popular" , but they made me a diehard fan of BTS. There are many more. I don't follow charts and numbers either. So I was so sceptical at the beginning as you are now. But don't worry BTS will never dissapoint you.

I think you should check out their less famous tracks too and the solo work, especially if you don’t usually go for top 40 type songs. It’s not rock, but I think you might enjoy the way the emotion builds in First Love. I think part of why BTS has such a wide appeal (in addition to their performances and message) is their discography has extraordinary depth and breadth. I also personally love that they have songs with lyrics that reference and engage with politics, socioeconomic, history, literature, art, mythology, psychology, linguistics, etc. They also write most of their own music and often their lyrics are quite personal or about issues they want to speak about at the time. So it’s really cool to see how they’ve grown not just as artists, but also as people over time
